Sabrblade wrote:More info about Paleotrex:Brownish fossil color with some slight printed dark brown weathering, asymmetrical shoulder ( left is giant blade and right is normal) , rib cage thighs , long arms with big claws hands that is dinolegs. The back is dino head , same style with G1 dinobot.
No ankle pivot but has heel 5mm ports. Has knee pivot both horizontal and vertical.
The head is exactly Primal mace , but it open and reveal striking silver chariot face inside with beautiful yellow eye.
This fossilizer is interesting.. I think you all need to be very creative. The head is indeed mace , but other parts i dont know how to integrate them on othwr figures. They are bones and bones after all. The chest can be shield or pauldron for example.

The Class price points are no longer fully related to the size of the bot within it. For instance, Earhtrise "leader class" Double dealer is a whole head shorter than Studio Series "voyager class" Movie 1 megatron.
Basicaly, it just means you'll get a deluxe sized Hot Rod and have to pay $30 for it.
Core class
G1 Optimus
G1 Megatron
G1 Starscream
Rattrap
Dracodon - Fossilizer
Vertrebreak - Fossilizer
Deluxe Class
G1 Warpath
Cheetor
Blackarachnia
Paleotrex - T-Rex Fossilizer
G1 Tracks
Waspinator
Scorponok
Airrazor
G1 Huffer
G1 Pipes
Shadow Panther
G1 Slammer (potentially a Warpath retool)
Ractonite - Styracosaurus Fossilizer
Wingfinger - Pteranadon Fossilizer
G1 Wheeljack (Earthrise repack)
G1 Arcee (Earthrise repack)
Voyager class
Optimus Primal
G1 Inferno
G1 Cyclonus
Dinobot
Rhinox
Tigatron
G1 Starscream (Earthrise repack)
Leader class
G1 Galvatron
Beast Wars Megatron
Earth mode Ultra Magnus (Seige retool)
G1 Optimus Prime (Earthrise repack)
Unknown/potentially commander
G1 Rodimus Prime
leaning more towards him being the commander as he apparently has some effect parts including a matrix energy effect. Outside of Battlemasters, only Commanders and Titans have come with effects parts. That and leader class is looking pretty full between Kingdom and Studio Series
Titan class
Autobot Ark
Supposedly has a Last Autobot robot mode

What if it's only sold as a Commander due to the mass of his trailer, with the actual Rodimus figure being more Voyager sized?D-Maximal_Primal wrote:I'm actually hoping Rodimus Prime is the commander, would give me a reason to pass on it.

Man, all y'all passing on the redesign of rodimus most of you were begging for in potp; I bet he'll has an awesome base mode

What if they make this Rodimus really show-accurate in robot and vehicle mode, while also having a toy-accurate trailer base mode... and then Takara redecos it in their Japanese Selects line in gold and crimson orange... as Primus?!

Sabrblade wrote:Well, I specified Takara because it is they who are currently telling this grand, cosmic, Green Lantern Corps-esque Selects manga story surrounding that specific version of Primus, and independently from Hasbro at that.

That's the thing though: I do not care about the Rodimus base mode, same way I do not care for prime having the trailer.

Is it too much much to ask for an all-in-one rodimus. No built in Hot Rod. No battle base. Just a Rodimus that transforms straight into his space winnebago.

As weird as this sounds, I love enjoy it if the Selects releases next year were all just the BW guys in an alternate deco with the mutant head

Rodimus's alt-mode is just a giant box. This sounds really boring.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
