T-Mack, what "platinum spartan" do you mean? The only silverish one should be the Gamestop exclusive "Steel Spartan".

Thanks for looking out for those figures for me. I was going to get up today and go on a hunt but I decided to sleep in. It is probably a good thing considering Botcon is next week! I did take your tip and I went to Woodinville and got myself a Target Barricade, but unfortunately there was no BB.

Which spartan are you looking for? I have a Halo 3 Red Spartan in the normal armor (Mark IV or something?). Still MISB.

good hunt cyberjet! where is the issy target at? i just might make the trip out there for the premium prime.. how was the condition? since you mentioned that tru in renton has the exclusives, i might return the extra set that i get from hts.

on another note, i got the dcpi for deep space starscream.. they arent here yet (i checked) but if you want the number shoot me a PM.

Issaquah Target is pretty easy to get to, and I noticed in the past it's been a hotbed for toys (guess there aren't many collectors that go there at all). It's right off of I-90, forget which exit. Only like 3 turns from the freeway I think.

For the Issaquah Target, get off at the 2nd Iss. exit, turn right at the top of the ramp then get into the left hand turn lanes for the next light. Go left down that road for a ways and you'll see it on the right hand side.
As for the Spartan issue,according to the guy at one of the Everett Gametops, there are 2 Spartans listed in their system, and apparently the platinum (I think that was what he had called it) was the only one in stock. He said that his store did not have any of the Steel Spartans and that it would be a matter of hit or miss at the other stores since the computer was not registering confirmed inventory for it at other stores. It's available, just not sure which store has it at any given time.
And TrainwreckX, a PM is forthcoming with the last location that I spotted Premium Leader Class Megatron.
I'm going North again tomorrow (Sunday) morning, without interruption from the boss, so I should be able to complete the hunt I started Friday.

Well, the TF hunting was a bust but I found out more info on the Spartan for anyone else interested (ACS already got PM'd about my findings). First off, the guy I dealt with friday didn't have all his info straight. 2ndly, the Exclusive Spartan isnt even hitting the market until June which is why it exisits in the computer but the employees can't nail down a store location...there isn't one. (this is why I try to make my hunting coincide with my work locations. If I had done the driving around solely after the one figure and then found this info out I would have been all kinds of P.O.'d).
And lastly, I could find nothing in my searching to corobberate with the other metal Spartan listing. Once again, I don't know what the guy at the Everett store was smoking or why he wasn't sharin', but the Steel, the regular version and the $100.00 Master Chief are all they are carrying at this time. So thanks CJ7, for getting my curiosity up enough to back track the info on whether the other Spartan exisisted. That pointed me to the other info I needed to save myself a lot of time searching and to keep me from buying more GBA cartridges that I don't really need but tend to buy since I'm there anyway

Woodinville Target was down to just 8 Brawls in tubes yesterday. None of the others were present. They also have a Premium Megs that has been there all week - decent condition.

Air Com SS - do you need a BB?

The Halo figure from Gamestop is the ODST, "drop trooper". They are taking preorders (which maybe a good idea for those collecting) and the figure should be out somtime in June.

thanks for the info on how to get to the issy target guys... i didnt have to travel out there after all, i managed to pick up a premium op at the tru in northgate yesterday. i just got back from the tru at southcenter to return the damaged box prime that i got from hasbro last week.

last chance folks! i was going to return the tru exclusive wingblade and jetstorm at the tru but they would only give me store credit even with the receipt

with that said, they will be packaged and shipped off tomorrow unless someone here would like to pick them up. the boxes arent too bad either. let me know...

Woodinville Target has moved their endcap to the toy section. They just have Brawl now and lots of SW. From what I've heard, some Target's are restocking the endcaps and some are not; so if you still need those exclusives try to grab them quick.

Also, does anyone here need a Halo 3 Cortana? There's a shop I know that has 2 in stock.

Hunt last night:

Lynnwood Walmart: nothing
Lynnwood Target: little on the endcap
Lynnwood TRU: no exclusive, Voy. SS and Megs x1 each
Woodinville Target: endcap BB x3, no Barricade, multiple Barr. and Brawl
Bellevue TRU: no exclusives
Redmond Target: all endcap TF's
Redmond Fred Meyers: lots of movie Jazz

As for Halo 3, I spoke to a manager at the Redmond location who checked her computer and found that all the Halo 3 series one figures are listed as "discontinued" except for the Master Chief and the Steel Spartan exclusive. She said that if they're listed as "discontiuned" there is a VERY good chance the stores will not see them again. I do know the Master Chief and Steel both ship as an entire case of themselves; so that may help. Also TRU stores have taken down there sections of Halo 3 figures; so series 1 may be dead. And I cannot see anyone restocking series 1, as series 2 is coming out in June.

I am a Frito lay rep. I service a Wal-Mart Super center. So I am in there everyday at 3am . Those exclusives came and gone quick. I think they had a very very short production run.

I am inclined to agree with jmt012. I did a thorough sweep of the boondocks up north after work today and the Deluxe class was totally restocked but no exclusives. If they were going to linger anywhere in the north end, it would have been up in Mt. Vernon. I'm going to talk to my contact further north and see what can be found in Bellingham. There is a chance that I will be going up there Friday or Saturday. The Targets up north still have nothing (I've said it before but OMG, the Burlington Target is tiny! I almost bought the last legends set I needed and I had to step outside just to change my mind. That's how small it is )

On the plus side, the Gamestop ODST Steel Spartan is reservable (ACS, when you finally see this, yours is taken care of) and will be in on June 3rd.
The best luck I had with TF's today was finding a FAB Optimus at the Mt. Vernon Value Village for 2 bucks. Went in for work pants and found Prime and a Doomlock that is itching to be customized (I'm thinking Trypticon or Grimlock colors. Can't decide so I'll take votes from anybody) No tail/sword but I have the skills/tools to craft one.

Hello from Botcon guys! I just wanted to post a quick hello and I am glad to see that some of you are getting the figures you want in stores. Also thanks for reserving the Gamestop for me T.

I was able to snag a bunch of rare and good stuff here at Botcon.

Unplugged MP Megatron (for $75 ), Green Encore #6 Ratchet, Heneki Starscream, Battle Damaged Premium Optimus Prime. Oh and Target BB. Also picked up the Target SW Battlepack of Elite Arc-170 squad and Mcquarrie Rebel Trooper.

They had all oft he premiums here. The deluxes are half and half... IMO BB looks about the same he is now, not too much metallic. Jazz looks really good, Barricade is so so he's got some better paint apps for sure. Voyager Ironhide is amazing, the premium version is infinitely better. Blackout looks pretty cool, but once again not too much metallic nature to him, but better paint apps.

I also picked up Animated Optimus Prime (Deluxe) and got it signed by David Kaye. I got a Animated BB and got Bumper to sign it, and I also got a Animated book signed by all 3. Since I can;t open those guys I also picked up Lockdown so I can open him. All of the toys got scalped right away........... BB I had to pay $20 for, but Prime and Lockdown only cost me $16 each so not too much of a markup for them.

Tonight Seibertron faces off in Battle of the Boards so wish us luck! Later guys.

Picked up Jetstorm at TRU down south here, but passed on Wingblade. Saw more of the Target Exclusives, but they wern't marked down like the rest of the deluxes at this target, but if someone still needs that Barricade, let me know.

CJ7, dont know if you saw my posting before we lost a days worth of posts and PM's during the upgrades, but I was curious as to which of the Targets you had seen the 2 BB's at.
I also noticed that you, Barrelass and myself are, once again, simultaneously logged in. Are the 3 of us that dedicated are do we have too much free time on our hands? I'm going to look at that particular glass from a "Half Full" perspective.

By the way, Kicks Hobby in Northgate just got the Henkei (japanese classic) in; they had Prime, Megs, BB, Grimlock, and Mirage. $25 for deluxes and $50 for the voyagers.

Thanks for the location info CJ. Unfortuantely, due to the high cost of Diesel in Bellingham, my boss is having me wait till morning before I can snag my check (meeting him at a nearby jobsite), so it'll be a crapshoot if BB is still there when I get there.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone here have plans for attending the Emerald City Comic Con on the 10th or 11th? Since we are stuck here instead of enjoying BotCon with the numerous other Seibertronians, and since some of us have speculated on having some type of NW get together, I was just thinking that this might be a good opportunity for one. It's just a random thought but it may have some merit to it.

And trust me, the specials from BotCon can be a little spendier than you might think!

^Not sure about the Comic Con yet. I am not into comics/sci-fi etc., just transformers, anthough it does look like there are a lot of toy vendors there, which leads to my other problem, I have no cash. If I go there, I am, at a minimum, gonna want to pick up some of the Classics that I don't have since I wasn't really back into transformers when they were released. I was considering attending that little transformers show later in the summer, but the pics of it didn't make it look that big.

If I do roll up for it, I should still have that Bumblebee in a tube if you still need him by then.

I will be at the Comic Con for sure.

Emerald City Comic Con had TONS of G1 all the way to current Transformers. It's a great place to go if you are any collector!

I'll definitely be there.

In other news, I saw 2 of each of the TRU exclusives. Almost bought them, but I remembered I said I would buy them from RodimusTitan, and I didn't wanna be a jerk "sorry, already got them."

So they go out to you. Lynnwood is who had 'em. Also, a TFW2005 poster found each of the leader premium figures there, so I finally got my grubby paws on them!

So I am just looking for Wal-Mart Big Daddy if anyone has an extra. I am going to open it, so it doesn't have to be super-mint, but I would like the card.

Now I definitely have to go to next years BotCon.
ACS, even though it's 10:30 A.M. your time over there, if you are up and online, you guys didn't party hard enough at the meet and greet and it's gonna have to take an "old-scool" type like me to show you youngsters how it's done.
