Were there any changes that you liked?

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is my first topic/post so let's get to it. There have been a lot of talk, much of it negative, about the changes that were made to the Transformers and its mythology for the movie.

So did any of you like any of the changes?

One thing I liked personally was how Bumblebee has a sturdier/tougher look to go with that huge amount of guts he has. I got annoyed often with how he'd sometimes get kicked around, cause he was so small, during the original show. Now it definitely seems like he can dish out beatings more often.

I liked most of the vehicle choices, and I'm glad that Megatron wasn't given an Earth Alt form, it was pretty cool. And I actually like Megs' head.

I liked all the vehicle and bot modes. No problems there. None of the changes bothered me, just the execution in terms of story and plot.

Welcome to Seibertron Warzone!

I'd have to agree with you on the Bumblebee thing. I hated him in G1, but he rocks in the movie.

The biggest change that I really loved was the whole design style for the bots. Even when fans didn't like them at first, I fell in love with the style. I liked the complex and alien head designs from the get-go.

Alot of the alt mode choices I liked (except for th 08 Camaro for BB). The Solstice was seemingly made for Jazz. Ironhide's black Topkick mode fits him like a glove, Ratchet works as a Hummer S&R vehicle (shame about the snot colour scheme though) and Prime's Peterbilt would be perfect if it weren't for those gaudy flames.

Oh, and don't forget one of the most unique and well-executed changes we got from the movie: the very first Decepticon police car! 8)
