i'm not sure you've seen the same movie as i did.. of maybe you were just on drugs. but i can assure you that isnt barricade. It's a mercedes for christ's sake. I'll post a picture of it later on. I'm at work now so i cant.

he isn't thrown at the wall. Ironhide picks up the car to shield himself and/or sam from blackout, but gets shot, falls and drops the car.

as promised; the screenshots of that scene in which you think barricade gets thrown against a wall by ironhide.


This is a clear shot of the car before ironhide picks it up. Note that there are no decals whatsoever and (not as clear on picture) that it is a mercedes and therefore cannot be barricade


Quite blurry but still clear that the car that ironhide picks up is NOT barricade.

..but am i right in thinking the black car is a soft top in the first picture but a hardtop when ironhide pics it up?!?

no it is a hardtop in both pictures, just not as visible in the first. the screenshots were taken about 2 secs apart and were part of the exact same scene, so it would have to be a fault in the cgi if what you say is indeed true

sorry for the late reply. i was scoping around other topics. another way would be to somehow obtain my e-mail adres or for me to magically obtain yours.. ofcourse to talk about milk and cookies

Ok, lets think about this. If it indeed is a mercedes, harmlessly just hanging around between Sam and Blackout why would Ironhide grab it?! (not focusing on blackout at all) and throw it down to the side?! Its baffling but very logical! just a wee bit of sarcasm.

Next scenario... an actual Decepticon is hiding in plain sight and Ironhide spots him before he can make a move and take him out so that sam may continue his mission. (sounds more plausible to me)

If you look closely something(decepticon) transforms into robot mode after being slammed down my Ironhide... so explain that. It is like only a split second but it does happen.

Well, Ironhide picked the car up as a shield against Blackout's rocket firing against him that is why the car was shattered when the rocket hit it... I saw the movie the fourth time... that was no Barricade...

If you pay close attention in the highway scene... Barricade bailed out early and to an exit... before Bonecrusher and Optimus Prime battled it out...

I also think that Barricade was able to Transform to his Car mode but not able to fight because Bumblebee beat the "COP" out of him I mean crap....

exactly; as i stated earlier he picks up the car to either throw it at blackout or to shield himself and/or sam from whatever blackout fires at them. he doesnt throw the car, he just drops it when he gets hit by blackout right before he takes off.
having seen what kind of damage barricade can take from the fight with bumblebee, i doubt he would lose his wheels because he got dropped.

I still don't think that is why he would grap that car. I have been "watching" it and something transforms....

and i really doubt a TF would lose its wheels from gettin dropped. u see them get hit or sumthing and dont lose parts that easily.

trust me, i have this movie on my pc. i've watched that part about 20 times and i dont see anything transform. just a wheel flying through the air.

you might just see something get hit and its moved that may look like something that its not.

I also have the movie on my pc and it appears to be something. I guess we will never know until the DVD comes out or maybe the next movie will explain it.

ok i think i see what you mean. right after ironhide picks up the car blackout shoots at him and actually hits the car, making it kinda explode which might look like it transforming. i can post a screenshot if you like.

There is no explosion but the camera pans to the left where Ironhide smashes the car down and it looks like a robot. Then it goes back right towards sam.
