But critic will pan this!
Im also saying that there are still a slim chance that this film actually work. Its slim, but its there....
By "work" what do you mean?
As far as i can tell the film will be a great success on all fronts. Lets see many TF fans are wetting themselves to see it, it does infact have ALOT of G1 elements in there for all the whiners out there too. The characters look great on screen and the CGI is mind boggling, the merchandise is selling well, the new line of toys are very likeable and all the kids are gonna want em after theyve seen the film even if they wasnt transfans to begin with.
Then theres the simple fact that this is a pure popcorn money-making summer blockbuster, with huge names behind it which always catch the general audiences' eyes, i.e., Micheal Bay and Steven Speilberg.
I cant see this being anything but a success on nearly every level. Its not gonna win any awards for story telling, but it certainly is going to do exactly what a movie should do. Entertain.
Sonray: THREAD WINNER!!!
I was skeptical when I saw the still concept designs. But, I reluctantly admit that this film will absolutley DOMINATE this summer.
Forget Spiderman 3, forget Pirates 3, forget all of that s***.
This film WILL BE THE FILM to see this summer, and Paramount/Dreamworks/ILM/Hasbro/Bay/Spielberg & Co. all KNOW this.
I predict this will not be a blockbuster, but a saga on the same plane of popularity/cultural awareness as Star Wars and Star Trek.
I cannot see into the future, but I can tell you one thing: I am NOT the only one who has been waiting over 20 years to see a LIVE-ACTION Transformers movie. Even casual people I know at work and customers who stop by at work are STOKED to see this.
Nothing can stop this film now.
Not even former haters like myself.
Bring on the robo-carnage, I say!!!
THIS FILM WILL OWN US ALL...f*** the critics.
