I don't mean the toyline, I mean thefiction. Wyatt said Unicron does not exist in the Transformers Animated fiction.

Thank god.

Unicron doesn't need to be in every Transformers universe.

Honestly, I am not the best person to give a critique of the show idea. I am personally content to see TFA end where it has ended and also, from a personal stand point, I don't ever want to see Unicron in another TF cartoon again...ever!
Therefore, since I already have two biases, I don't feel that I can give a fair and constructive assessment of yours or anyones work along those lines. I only say this because I don't feel that someone that has put time and thought into an idea such as this deserves to have it critiqued unfairly. It just wouldn't be right. It's definitely nothing personal. Others on here could tell you that I'm not the biggest Unicron fan and folks over in the Movie forums suggesting Unicron for TF3 absolutely hate me.

ALL the fiction.

The Animated show and comics aren't separated like the other comics are from their shows (well, the UK TFA comics could be, but that's still up for debate).

But say they DID make a Unicron and Primus for TFA. Wouldn't my idea be preety good? Honestly, ending TFA like they did, with the possibility of my story happening(as in the Megatron and Co breaking out)being about 50/50 or so.

And i need to be able to know how to put on an Avatar.

BTW, anyone who reads this should google Star Wars Galaxies. AWESOME game in my opinion.

Unicron is the kind of villain you need to use sparingly. Use it once in a while and make it big (no pun intended). Notice how the Borg became less cool when Star Trek: Voyager started using them left and right.

If I can say this, now that TFA has come and gone I think the time has come for the next Transformers cartoon to be aimed for Adults and I think anyone can agree with me hear that it should be in CGI. I miss CGI TF shows like Beast wars/Machines and they need to come back on screen.

Also I think Youtubers RandalNG and of course the beloved DrSmoov should make it as well, If anyone has seen there excellent attempts at making & voicing in CGI Transformers shorts I think everyone hear can agree that they should take a crack at the next TF cartoon.

Dr Smoov as well, has an outstanding voice and he needs to break into professional voice acting with that voice of his.

I am also getting abit angsty waiting for the next TF cartoon will come along and what turn it will take, this to me seems like the best way to take and its something TF havent done yet except in the recent Live action films.

While I agree with the notion of "maturing" Transformers I disagree with the use of CGI. I would be all for a CGI with the animation level of say Wall-E or Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within but it wouldnt feasible for a weekly TV show. For a weekly TV show you'd wind up having the quality of the "Penguins of Madagascar" and while that show is good for what that is it wouldnt have the level of detail that a Transformers show would need.

I still feel the best option is to use high end animation like Hasbro used with GI:Joe Resolute. If you are going to do some CG have it done like Production IG did the Ghost in the Shell TV series.

Production IG is my second choice to take on Transformers, still out of all the shows that have been done of TF over the years I think Alternators needs to take on a show. I always wanted to see what Alternators would look like as a Live action series, and since at the moment Live action is kinda blanketing TF it would be an interesting take to see a Live action Transformers show.

Your idea certainly now has my vote for #1 pick. I would just hate to see what would happen to the concept of a live action show geared towards the kids. very likely it would be cut to a 30 min show with 22 minutes actual time and end up like Power rangers which would drive us older fans nuts. An hour long (42 min.) show once a week geared more like some of the shows on the Sci-Fi channel, now there's a winner! I would hate to be a show on any of the other stations competing in the same time slot.

Well for a while now TF has been aimed for Children, I think the time has come for TF to take a jump forward onto a different stage. The next show needs to be aimed for Adults (Mature Audiences), but absolutly nothing pornographic for the next TF show otherwise it will be another version of Kissplayers :?

If Alternators did get a show, it would most likely be based on the existing Binaltech fiction (which wouldn't be a bad thing, as Binaltech has a pretty cool story).

It would evetually have to lead into the Alternity fiction, which itself is just epic!

I agree. the LAST thing we need is a return of Transformers: Kiss Players. Not only was it the most disturbing and girlish TF series, but it completely interfered with so many different TF series. It was one big mistake.

Well if Japan ever did get TF once more I would strongly suggest they go the mature fashion and not make the same mistake they did with the Unicron Trilogy and make it more like DBZ meets Power Rangers...Animationwise however.

This I dont mind, because I always thought that these particular scenes in Energon made me satisfied and I think this kinda style I always perfered to that rubbish Boxy 3D nonsensne in both Energon & Cybertron.

IT SHOULD NOT BE DIRECTED TO ADULTS. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER! I WOULD BE DEVASTATED!! (Remember, I said I was 13) IT WOULD BE THE TRUE RUINING OF TRANSFORMERS!

Okay, my shouting is over. Now, I'd get behind the idea of an Animated Beast Wars. It would be pretty cool, and I'd love it. I'd also be behind the idea of a show with Unicron. Just...not Animated. Those two things don't mix. On a sidenote, Unicron and Primus are in every Transformers series. They are multiversal singularities. Like The Fallen, there is one version of them everywhere. G1 Unicron is Armada Unicron is Energon Unicron.
However, I believe that it will come out December '09, similar to Animated, or Jan/Feb/March '10. The TF series (from what I know) usually start at the beginning or end of the year, not in the middle. Yes, S3 came out in March/April, but that was not a new series.
Oh, and in those Energon pics, Inferno's face looks awesome! B-) Who is that female bot beside Kicker? Is that...Arcee? It looks nothing like the toy!
Thanks. :)

If it were truely a kid's show, would the majority of adult fans still be watching it if it were something only kids could enjoy and adults couldn't? I don't think so. Take Beast Machines for example. A lot of kids didn't enjoy it, but older fans did.

That's not what I meant, Sabr. I meant, Hasbro gears the series towards kids. Not that adults don't like it. I know adults like it. However, I'm young and I like BM (a lot). And about Unicron, yeah, that's what I meant. Couldn't remember the term though.
