Exactly what the topic says.
Transformers - When Prime rolled up and transformed for the first time. I'd been enjoying it up until that point but then I knew they'd nailed it.
Revenge of the Fallen - Prime being airdropped from a C1-30? The forest battle? The awakening of Jetfire? The battle at the pyramid? Prime vs. The Fallen? RotF managed to have awesome moment after awesome moment right up to the end.
What about everyone else?
When did you know the new movies were for you?

First was this, which caught my attention, and it still gives me goosebumps near the end.
Then this one totally sold me onto it.
And this vamped up my anticipation to a whole new level. Come on, I knew nothing of Transformers, but the jet transforming (Starscream) the helicopter, the bad ass fight at the end, this movie was such a win for me on so many levels.

The moment I got goosebumps was the moment I saw that short segment of Starscream transforming and landing on the Hoover dam.
From that moment onwards, I was pumped.

clone threads - sad trollish behavior

anyway i realised movies were first for me when i saw the first trailer (not the teaser) robots looked good, character names were recognisible, action looked interesting.
Then i saw the movies, and realised that bay preferred to spent more time shooting an un funny sitcom, military hardware and had decided to employ an editor with ADD. and then threw a soupcon of racist, homophobic undertones, to appeal to the baser levels

So wanting to start a thread about liking the movies amidst threads about not liking them is troll behavior? Nice logic.

My bad then, I was unaware. However, you should follow your own advice. Reporting thread so it's locked.
