Then in a few weeks, the toys reach saturation and the whining quiets down. People finally see the toys they want and get them.
Then the next wave gets its first sighting and the same people whine that they see nothing but those stupid last-wave toys!
It happened with the first rush of movie toys. It's happened with Classics. It's happened with every single mainline to date in any toyline! That's the game and the way it works, learn the rules or quit playing.

I dont think they were planning on making a whole lot of the Bumblebee's and new guys... So they wouldnt waste money by making too many. After all of these are sold, they'll probably make more but if they dont...... I bought many of them for 12-25$ and if I see them for 10$ in a store, I'll buy a copy to use in making new TF's and custom TF's. Like Drop kick..... new paint job, new head, and a custom made roof to go over the truck bed and he looks just like Skids. Just stuff like that.
But the waiting game could be a double edged sword... like the Energon dinobots of Grimlock and Swoop.... waited and never saw them..now instead of paying 20-30$ for them, you have to pay 50$ +.
JTKranix wrote:Um, I'm sure that is not correct. The movie line is the only line until the animated series toys, that's 6+ months of movie figures and Hasbro is going to milk every minute of it, especially with a blockbuster supporting the toyline.
Spark Light wrote:They were only released at the start of the week, this is unbelievable. I really think scalpers should have the **** beaten out of them, I am not paying $25-30 for a $10 toy.
Are the evil scalpers getting to them or are my relatives in the US just very bad at looking?
Spark Light wrote:Chosen, all that's pretty irrelevant since the only reason that I'm able to get them at all(maybe) is that I have a relative on holiday.
By the time they reach here, I'll have to pay near-scalper prices to get them at retail, not to mention I'll have to wait at least another month. The Wave 1 deluxes don't even have wide release here yet, and the Classics deluxes never recieved a fully, wide release.

I like it when you write your words on the interwebs.
Do you have a magazine I can subscribe to?
