Wheelie is wise beyond his years, but he is still just a child. His wisdom comes from learning to survive on his own like a street-kid. He's a wild-boy and suvivalist. It is this background that gives him a certain kind of wisdom. He is still just a kid though.

I'm sure that Kup is older than Ironhide.

Even if he is, Kup is not significantly older than Ironhide. They are close to the same age.

In your opinion they are Tramp, there is nothing to say one way or the other as to who is older, and by how much. It's all a matter of opinion.

Ironhide's tech specs were written before Kup was even created, so they can't be relied upon for technically correct information.

I kind of agree with Sloptank's take; it's certainly the impression they give. Also IDW's version has Ironhide still in full working order, while Kup's falling apart - admittedly that's partially due to his unwillingness to upgrade, and partially because he's been stuck on planet getting all irradiated.
But as Tramp says, I don't think they're necessarily that far apart; they call each other old-timers, if one was significantly younger, that wouldn't work.

But yeah, neither of 'em are anywhere near close to Alpha Trion.

Exactly, Both are "old-timers" well past their prime. Even if one is older than the other, their interactions alone indicate that the age difference is not significant. Alpha Trion, however, is truely ancient. He makes Kup and Ironhide look like a couple of children in copmparison.

They said iron hide was the oldest on earth, but Kup wasnt there. Actualy when was the last time Kup was anywhere? I think Kup was the oldest, but Iron Hide was oldest on Earth. Kup was probobly somewhere on Cybertron when the 07 movie took place

But Kupp's alt mode is way more futuristic than Ironhide's LiteAce minivan.

But that's because Kup's alt-mode was either Cybertronian, or futuristic (well, '86 futuristic)...

I would say Kup is much older. I do remember Ironhide saying something like "I'm getting too old for this", or something like that, but I assumed he was just middle aged.

You really have to read the exchanges between the two of them. Both of them calling each other "old-timer" and ribbing each other on their age. Only two old men close in aghe would talk that way about each other. They're clearly close in age.

That's not what the topic asks, is it? It asks who is older, not how close in age they are. You've already given your opinion, now let others have their turns. Stop hijacking other people's topics.
