If we're going in Alphabetical order wouldn't that mean A-3/Alpha Trion, Air-Raid, Arcee, Aireal/Elita-One, Abominous, and all them other A named bots would be older than everyone. That actully might be true in the case of A-3/Alpha Trion but not for someone like Air-Raid who wasn't even built till "Key to Vector Sigma"

Speaking of which did you know they actully have a toy of Vector Sigma (complete with key) now?

Is it correct to say... Ironhide was born in 1984, and Kupp was born in 1986?

That can be a possible solution to their seniority issue.

They werent born in those years. They were introduced in 1984 and 1986. So you cant judge using that.

Kinda makes one wonder why Kup or Ironhide was never chosen for Prime, but a clerk by the name of Optronix. I think that might be a cool dimension in the TF muti-verse Furman could explore, "What if?".

Maybe Kupp and Ironhide are too old.

Besides....
Ironhide is hot-headed.
Kupp is too engrossed in his old war stories.

The reason why is because They aren't attuned to it. Only those individuals who are specially attuned to the matrix can inherit it and become one of the super-powered Primes. This is why Ultra magnus didn't upgrade and become a Prime when he was given the Matrix, yet Hot Rod did. Hot Rod was attuned to the Matrix, Magnus wasn't.

I can't imagine how Ultra Magnus will upgrade. Another layer of armor?

Kup IS older! Just look at his lined face and bags under his eyes! (Um. Robots develop bags under eyes???) while Ironhide still has a youthful-looking face. And he acts much younger as well, IMHO.^_^

Ironhide does not act young at all. He's just as crotchety and grumpy as an old man can get.

I'd say the comics make Kup out to be older. In spotlight kup, they discuss how Kup is way past his prime, and Springer argues that Kup was important to them all as being the 'bot that trained Optimus himself (among others).

Not to mention Kup "looks" old. He's got the bags under his eyes, parts were never upgraded that should have been, etc., while Ironhide holds his own rather well.

I say Wheelie is actually older than all of them though...

...and more insane. (muh-hah-ha-hha-ha!)

Wheelie is like Yoda. Small. But the oldest and the wisest!

Imagine living alone in the Sharkticon planet for millions of years, without ever being caught! Until joining Hot Rod and his group for a ticket to Cybertron.

If you think about it, Wheelie is probably pretty old. Dating back at least to the time the Quintessons fled Cybertron, since he has the symbol of the consumer goods line on him. Which makes him at least older than Optimus Prime and Megatron. :P[/url]

Ironhide's always given me am early fifties age vibe, whereas Kup's always struck me as mid-sixties. Spry, but old.
