I wouldnt go so far as to say I hated it, but I would say that as Transformers movie it sucked. as a movie in general it sucked also. Too many problems plot/story wise, characters reduced to cannon fodder, barely any screen time for the bots, action was disjointed due to bad editing and camera work, no real sense of tension, too much forced humor, too many humans, none of the "teens" even looked like teens, no Welker, music was completly forgetable.

I dont hate it.

The bot modes were simply too complicated, too much of a "Junkyard" look, too much of a departure from Japanese giant robo design. That's why some people don't like the graphics.

And the script is pretty dire... take away the TFs which don't even appear that often, and it doesn't really hold up.

Took you 8 screenings to see the faults in this movie? I know people who love this movie and saw every fault the first time...

I didn't hate this movie as much as I hated the fact that I knew a movie like this made by Micheal Bay would make me want to hate it...From the beginning when Don Murphy and Bay totally lied to the fans, the hatred from what he was gonna do with this franchise just kept building and the movie was merely a confirmation of that...So as much as the generic mess this movie is I wouldn't say I hate it more than I hate the entire conceptual manifest put into motion by the human car-engine Micheal Bay...

I enjoyed it action-wise

Though I think the word "hate" is too strong a word to use, may I add that I did not like the movie. Sure the CGI was good at most, but I did not enjoy this movie at all.

I liked the graphics, I liked the military involvement in the movie, and I liked the hype and the stuff done to create anticipation for the movie.

What I did not like was parts of the story. There was not enough military vs. Decepticon action, or Autobot vs. Decepticon action. There was too much shown of Sam Witwicky trying to score with that Mikaela chick. I didn't mind some of the stuff with Sam and that girl, but there was enough of the lusty stuff where he doesn't look like a dude in love with a pretty girl, he looks like a horny pig instead trying to get into her pants.

One of the reasons i hate the movie.....Why does Optimus retains his G1 look (mostly) and we all can recognize him? And no one can tell what Megatron suppose to be?! I thought MEgs was some alien parasite thing before they twitcked his face!!!!

Hmmm.. then that completes the cast of the wacky Witwicky family.

I loved it, i enjoyed it and i think its a kickass movie BUT it has some major flaw.

Yeah, he came back and told everyone about a giant "ice man" so they locked him away in an asylum.

Just as they did with Galileo.

Overall, I liked the movie. Sure, I would have liked to see more of the Decepticons. I'd have also liked to actually see Optimus and Megatron's battle. I also disliked how the parents were just written off the way they were, and how Jazz became Mr. Hip Hop. I hate hip hop. Other than that, I thought it was decent.
