I change the poses and give em a pet on the head when Iam dusting the shelves they live on but that's it. Would making stop motion films be considered playing or not.

zemps, if I had an '08 Bumble bee that bastard would come with me to the bathroom, work, on dates, and hell even sleep with me. I'd be afraid that if I left him alone someone would steal him.

It's a cruel cruel world out there and '08 BB's are in demand. I don't trust the populace to not give into that dirty temptation.

when i used to work retail, i brought my takara TFC #4 Tracks with me. I put him into flight mode, and whooshed around the store restocking. He'd land on items i'd need to restock and "transport and deliver" them for me. My manager just gave me weird look and laughed. I shot a missle at him.

In retrospect, i think Tracks should have gotten his own income for working too.

haha, don't worry slumbs. you'll have your fair share of 08 BB's someday. i'm sure distro will be kind enough to let some shipments of this beaut come into your area.

though ironically, i rarely play with the 08 BB anymore. i usually keep him in car mode. man, if it had a better paint job, it'd be like a mini-alternator or something. wickedly cool. 8)

it is the classics BB that i'm usually playing with more often now. what can i say? pure G1 goodness.

even now, as i type, he stands guard over my "pirate" chest filled with currency from different asian countries. from time to time i also let this BB see action on my computer desktop. haha. he's always on guard duty, my classics BB. :P

I would say that just transforming a toy is playing with it, so I play with several of mine each day as I decide to spice up my display.

Oh, and I'm not on the verge of adulthood...just on the verge of 30.

'08 BB...and...Classics BB?! You smug bragging bastard! lol. I can't find Classic BB in stores or any place online.

God has only blessed me with one true BB and thats the duck feeted '74 version who is about to spend the rest of his days in alt mode because I can't get a decent pose outta him.

30? Well you're are almost an adult! lol.

I'm 20 and I don't consider myself an adult or a child, just young. I play with my TFs to keep me young because it keeps the creativity and imagination pumping. Afterall those are two things that a lot of people lose when they older, right?

ahhahaha I love that picture Ragnorok.

Whatever happened to 18 being the "adult" age?

People in their 30s are saying that they aren't adults!?!?
Oh come on.

It's AWESOME and cool that adults can play with toys. It keeps 'em young and more connected to the younger generation.

I'm 17 and I don't make any noises. I transform my toys a lot though, especially Bonecrusher because now he's my fave.

Oh come on.

It's not so much that there's an adult "age", because that would mean that at some point I'd be "too old"...it's only in how old you feel. Which this morning was about 75. But as the day progresses, I get younger, and this evening I'm sure I'll rearrange my collection again, maybe get Classics Grimlock to not eat Classics Deluxe-sized Optimus Prime's head.

Counterpunch, I *make* time to do stuff like that..mostly because if I had to deal with the f***ing mouth-breathers all day nonstop, I'd put my head in the deep fryer. [/RandalClerks2]

I don't really play with my Transformers, but I do pull them down from display and transform them every so often, just to check them out or admire the cool design of each one. I can never get enough of my Binaltechs or the Unicron sitting on my desk.

Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
I sometimes play with them. And I'm 27. I think it depends on my mood. If I got a TF that shoots missles, I'll try and shoot the cats or even my boyfriend, cause it's fun! Or if I got a TF that turns out to be my fave, I'll want to take them everywhere (and I have, in my backpack). But for the most part, I transform them and find a place for them.
Long live the Decepticons!! I love G1 Starscream!!

Don't tell Starscream, but I'm in love with movieverse Ironhide! ;)

You my friend..Are a hero. I laughed hard when you said "I shot a missle at him" I at least everyday pick up a certain tf and transform and even do mini fights with the one I got and pick up a random tf on my shelf. I even done a small dbz vs Transformers fight. Kakarot vs Optimus Prime. Mp prime won =P.

You, Sir, I challenge You

Postby DavidBeoulve » Tue Aug 21, 2007 9:27 am

I challenge the OP and, heck, anyone reading this to top this.Yes. I play with my Transformers. Like a man. Or a Dad. Something like that.

;) And I'm not seriously challenging anyone, I'm just attempting to be funny. A real challenge would presume that one person's mode of play is superior. I have never shot a missile at my manager, even though he is a college chum...

DavidBeoulve, you utterly, utterly rule. I've got to try something like that with my niece and nephew when they're old enough. It really helps that I have loads of miniatures (from Games Workshop games) to represent random people (or dwarfs, or goblins...). Now, I just need to think of a way to work my TMNT toys in there...

Ah, I just wish I had someone to play something like that with now. Still, I'll have years to plan out loads of cool stuff, so there is a silver lining.

play with them? no. Transform them? Yes. I'll have them all in robot mode, then if I had a stressful day I'll usually sit down with a few around me and change them all to alt mode and put them back on the shelf. I find it relaxing. It doesn't really remind me of being a kid, I just enjoy it. For some reason Jason Voorhees (the hockey mask guy) and Michael Myers are what remind me of my childhood.

at 17 though I was much much more interested in chicks, parties, playing guitar, and real cars as opposed to toy cars. But to each thier own, whatever makes you happy.
