I think G1 certainly has its charm, but it's not my pick for "best series." To me, that will always be Beast Wars; there is a bit of bias as that's the series that got me hooked into Transformers (I had seen bits of the old G1 series, but I was too young to appreciate it when it first aired). This is how I rank the various Transformers series, the top most being the best:

1) Beast Wars
2) Prime
3) Animated
4) Rescue Bots
5) Cybertron
6) G1
7) Robots in Disguise (2001)
8 ) Beast Machines
9) Robots in Disguise (2015)
10) Armada
11) Energon

This is just my personal opinion, and RiD15 could rise or fall, depending on how the series progresses in the future.

Combiner Wars and the Masterpiece lines were because of g1, so that's why it's the best.

As I see it Omega is analog, and Computron is digital. Isn't digital supposed to be better than analog?

I think I'll prefer my battery powered analog watch that requires a new battery every two years over a digital Apple Watch that requires charging every night.

ANY wearable technology is a bad idea. I nearly caved and got a Samsung Gear when it came out, but realistically, why do I need my watch to tell me I have a new text message? It can only tell me that because it's linked to my phone which is in my pocket!

Since G1 Omega Supreme is a lot older, he was probably made of sturdier materials. Old technology is more durable and built to last.

Computron was made from Unicron's salvaged wreckage.
