If they're coming only 300 years from the future, that's not that long. The timeline doesn't make sense.
I'm all mixed up.
No, the Great War was the entire "Autobots vs. Decepticons" civil war that lasted for millions of years. Transformers: The Movie was but a single portion of that much larger war.duragrip wrote:The Great War is Transformers: The Movie, no?

No, its not a prequel or a sequel. It's a time travel adventure that takes place in the same continuity as G1, thats pretty much what it is. I dont think defining it more than that would do it any justice. It's still very much it's own thing.
One of the reasons why the two most recent cartoons are awesome, even if those two still adhere to the "hide from most humans" thing.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Seeing the Autobots experiencing human culture is always awesome.

shajaki wrote:How was BW not covered in the 100+ pages of the last "G1 Q&A" thread?
It didn't. The episode's name was "Possession". "Starscream's Ghost" was the name of a G1 episode.duragrip wrote:shajaki wrote:How was BW not covered in the 100+ pages of the last "G1 Q&A" thread?
I could not get past the look of Beast Wars. Plus I kept wanting to see the old G1 characters.
How did Beast Wars have an episode called "Starscream's Ghost"?

Easy. The writer titled it "Starscreams Ghost".duragrip wrote:I could not get past the look of Beast Wars. Plus I kept wanting to see the old G1 characters.shajaki wrote:How was BW not covered in the 100+ pages of the last "G1 Q&A" thread?

william-james88 wrote:duragrip wrote:Why do some people consider Beast Wars as part of G1?
Because it's part of the same continuity as the G1 show.

No worries, man. I've already explained the finer details of that to Will via PM.sto_vo_kor_2000 wrote:william-james88 wrote:duragrip wrote:Why do some people consider Beast Wars as part of G1?

aside from the official standpoint, thats a highly debatable point.

I see the point of it being debatable. If we get into the gist of Time Travel, G1 already occured so if a future visitor monkeys (pardon the pun) with the past, they are effectively creating an alternate universe.
