Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Question for me is, who can these redneck idiots look at any G1 episode and not notice the giant japanese robots and dough eyed human characters? Wake up transformers has always been anime I hate to burst your bubble but your "all-american prime" was always a "stupid jap creation".

Uh, that happened with Cybertron/Galaxy Force:

I still feel it's the best of the three.
Oh, and as for the question at hand, I like the Anime' approach. However, I really dislike them changing everything in the dub, and I heard Hasbro got unfinished animation for Armada/Energon, and that's a reason it looked kinda bad. Also, I dislike them taking out the anime' expressions(sweat drops, etc.), and replacing the japanese music.

The rank and file Transformers were just incredibly stupid. I watched 10 minutes of a Cybertron episode and I saw the Autobots get nervous and almost shoot a whale and have no understanding of knowing how to operate underwater. Then they had humans showing them different swimming strokes.
Then there was a just assinine scene with Overhaul on the Jungle Planet where if he had a Texas accent would sound like George W Bush talking about the reasons for fighting with some robot from the Jungle Planet. Overhaul sounded like a complete lummox.
Then there are such things in the other series like snoring Autobots with anime snot bubbles.
Everything that had to do with minicons.
The cliche "been-seeing-since-Voltron-was-on-TV" stock animations where a Transformer yells "Transform!" with a slow transformation with a blinding color display behind him with a blaring techno-pop soundtrack.
The problems with G-1 were due to people making not giving a crap really and basically bungled their way into something that struck a chord with people that has lasted 20 years.

I really don't think that we can make that assumption about galaxy force, a japanese show that is dubbed in english. In that case, it's the americans that always screw **** up in the translation.
Watching dragonball z for an example, in japanese has shown me just how amazingly different, better, and less annoying and cheesy a japanese show can be if watched in it's original language. It's almost a completely different show.

Do you know that not everithing can be dubed the way it is in Japan?
I mean, you can't just translate it word for word, but you have to translate it so it makes sense in the languge you're dubing it in + it has to look like the carecters say it, mening only speek wile the lips move.

Wrong. Toei(Japanese) did the bulk of the animation for G1, and Beast Wars was produced in CANADA, by Mainframe.
Kadmon Prime wrote:
Yup, Toei animation did dragonball z. You don't get any more anime than this. G1 definatly has a japanese style, subtle though it may be, it's still quite clearly anime.
Even though the production company may have been american, it was still animated by Toei, and the movie and many of the episodes were directed by a japanese guy.
I just think it's hilarious when fanboys that hate anime fail to realize that they have been raised on it, especially if they are a child of the eighties. Transformers, G.I. joe, Thundercats, Voltron...All anime.

You do know a japanese animation company will be doing most of that aswell, right?
