Why Was Jazz Smaller Than Bumblebee?
I was quite surprised by this... and I posted another topic about this as well only thing saying "Was Jazz bigger than Bumblebee?" So this one is why?
My say, and Michael Bay's, well at least I think.
I read on another website that Michael Bay couldn't make Jazz bigger because he was a Pontiac Solstice. So that's what i think as well. The Camaro was bigger...
Why do you think he was smaller?

Because the Camero is bigger than the Solstice. Have you even seen a Pontiac Soltice up close? Man they're tiny. I'm actually suprised Jazz didn't look smaller.

"Consider the knowledge dropped."
From ToplessRobot.com:• "Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is marginally better than sh***ing your pants, but it takes a lot longer." Very well put.

Well, they could've just as easily have made Jazz NOT a Pontiac Solstice, and have chosen a bigger car for his Alt.Mode. But I suppose in Jazz's case they wanted to go with something small, sleek, and sexy.

^^^ Actually, I think I read an interview with Michael Bay sometime ago that he was given the Solstice to work with. He didn't want it, but he didn't have a choice.

^^ That seems like a slightly more likely cause. But I would imagine that as director, he'd have more power over choosing what cars to use for the robot characters. But maybe that's the reason Jazz was killed off; He didn't like the Solstice (Just kidding.)

Don't be kidding. Maybe that CAN BE the real reason behind it.

um in an interview, micheal said he hated jazz's alternate form but liked the guy, just hated his size and look, which is part of the reason ppl believe he was killed off

My theory:
They wanted to used the new camaro for the movie, so they talked to GM and it ended up turning into a deal where they HAD to use GM vehicles for cars in the movie. Now if you've seen a Solstice in real life, you know it resembles a porsche quite a bit. So they sacrificed his size to make his alt mode resemble his original!

Bay said that he wanted Jazz bigger, but he saved 3mil on the budget by making him a solstice, he didnt seem happy with his decision, but, money always takes priority.

I dont get why Jazz had to die. As far as I could see he was torn in two. Why would that kill him?
If the TF life is its spark and the body is just a shell couldnt he have just got a new lower half of the body?
I find the whole concept of a robot dying a bit odd. Unless the brain or storage unit where its personality and memories are stored is destroyed then surley it can be put into another shell?
Maybe it just makes for better story telling?
Poor Jazz.

Yes he did! I forgot about that. Perhaps there is hope for Jazz yet?
