I think I may no the reason why we have a recieved a Box-Set for RiD here in the USA.

Licencing Promblems

Only made a Deal to release it in Foriegn Countries such as the UK which has seen 3 re-releases of the show already.

In Legal Limbo maybe Hasbro is trying to buy the show from Desniy's Jetix which it said on the UK box-set it even had the Jetix Logo on the box.

Could just be in Legal Limbo where it is just being kept in the Archive Vaults.

Same with other shows I like alot

Sailor Moon
ReBoot
Megas XLR they could finish the series onto DVD.
Spider-Man the ones they show on Jetix would love an Ultimate DVD Box set of the show.

Jackie Chan Adventures
X Men Never has been on DVD except in individual singles very few are released.

Spiderman-Unlimited
The Mighty Ducks

Power Rangers They have been ultimate episodes picked out bye the fans but never any indvidual season sets.

Generation 1, 2
Zeo
Turbo Rangers
Galaxy Rangers
Rangers in Space
Operation Overdrive
Jungle Fury
S.P.D.
Time Force
Dino Thunder
Mystic Force
the upcoming Power Rangers R.P.M.

I would love to see a remastered box set of Sailor Moon like they are doing with Dragon Ball Z right now.

Also Reboot I have not Seen the show since it left the air back on Toonami.

Yeah but it sucks that we have yet to recieve a DVD Set on RiD another show I havent seen in many years.

Probably because RiD needs to be burned buried and forgotten. it is by far the worst Transformers series to date. It does not deserve a dvd release. It needs a funeral.

I think you'll find a lot of people here who disagree with you on that.

I will disagree. :D

RID was awesome, It brought me back into transformer collecting full time after I lost alot of interest thanks to Beast Machines.

That series has several of my favorite figures, and Characters in it as well. How could you not like Sky-Byte of Scourge? And how about Omega Prime? Besides Koji (I think that was his name) wasn't anywhere near as annoying as the kids in Armada.

I would gladly buy a DVD set of it, and have actually considered buying the European release several times.

But of course this is just my opinion.

While Sky-Byte was an enjoyable character, the rest of the series had the opposite effect on me. That series caused me to lose alot of interest in Transformers in general.

I believe it has something to do with Saban/Disney and licensing and distribution laws in the United States.

I don't know specifics though.

I only need this series, Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo, and I should have it all. The only thing I'd be missing, that I can think of right now anyways, is Scorponok's Scars from Energon, but that's because it wasn't dubbed. I don't know if I want to get the Japanese versions of the Unicron Trilogy, though. Maybe Madman will acquire the rights to distribute these three series. I enjoyed their Headmasters, Masterforce, and Victory sets.

AMEN BROTHER!

I agree with AutobotJazz RID sucks.

I don't understand why people say Beast Machines sucks it had great 3D complex characters, a great storyline and the best Megatron of all time.

What did RID have? Dumb characters, stupid plots, a lack of driection, and the worse Megatron/Gavalron of all times.

Beast Machines is like the new Battlestar Galactica of the Transformers series and was and still is a trillion times better than RID which is crap.

I didnt care to much about Beast Machines cause it was too organic, and Optimus Primal was way too Preachy and nothing like his previous counterparts.

Although I did like Megatron one of the better versions but I didnt like his designs also he didnt upgrade to Galvatron he just stole Optimus Primal's body from the original Beast Wars were Optimus became upgraded bye combining with the original Spark of G1 Optimus Prime.

I dont remember RiD much cause it has been at least 10 years since it has been on Fox Kids. I would like to see it one final time for old time sakes to remember what it was about.

I do no that most of it had to do with them hunting for Fortress Maximus which was hidded back on Earth but I dont remember anything else about it.

Since it dosent look like the USA will ever get the show on DVD Set cause of the whole Disney thing I guess I will just get me an international money order and order the UK Version or see if I can find the set on Ebay.

Getting gift sets in the USA would have been cool. The toys were very enjoyable, the cartoons were just voiced-over Japanese episodes that turned me off to watching transformer cartoons ever since. Ever since then every series turned out to be the same thing: Decepticons were incompetitent, childish and nobody could hit the broad side of a barn w/ a grenade launcher. The action was/is uninspiring. I'll take the original G1 over anything on tv nowadays.

Anyways, the only gift sets I could think of for RID were the 3 Predacons and 3 Autobots that were Beast Machine repaints (don't remember names).

I would also have you seen the BS that is on Cartoon Network I mean come on look at the idiot shows like Chowder.

Only thing I like watching are Secret Saturday and The Clone Wars.

Then Animated Season 3 is coming back on sometime this spring/summer 09 whenever that might be my guess is sometime around March 09.

I read somewhere that it could be March 19th, which makes no sense to me because that's a Thursday, I think. I thought this was a Saturday morning cartoon. I'm hoping it returns in March.

Resident Evil 5
Transformers Animated Season 3
WATCHMEN!

It's already a good month.

Outside of Opitmus Prime RiD's orginal molds(the Autobot Bros, Megatron, Galavtron, Ultra Magnus, the Build Team, and the Train Team) all sucked.
The only thing that saved RID as a toyline was all the repaints of G1, G2, Beast Wars, and Beast Machine toys. In hindsight RID seemed more like a trial run for Universe.

RiD was crappy show with a weak toyline.

Look I know that RiD isnt the best one in the series of the TF-Franchise but come on it sure does beat the BS that is currently being showed on CN at the moment.

I would like to watch the series for Old time sakes plus I need the series to finish my TF Collection.

I seriously doubt we will see any of the other series in the USA: Beast Wars 2, Beast Wars-Neo, Super God Master Force, The Head Masters and Victory.

Look how long Armada Season 2 took to get to us, I can imagine how long these would take plus they would have to re-dub everyone of those series into English and fix up the Entrance Video's and music themes to each of the shows cause they would be in crazy J-Pop music or some wierd Techno Music.

Also Resident Evil 5, Watchmen and others are not all that is coming out.

Dragonball-Evolution I have my doubts on this one

Street Fighter - Probably be worser than the Van Damme one

Star Trek Reboot - Looks friggin awesome plus Eric Bana is Nero

Suikoden - Tiekreis NDS

Dragon Quest V - NDS

WWE legends of Wrestlemania 360

Shin Megami Tensei - Devil Summoner 2

Mana Khemia 2

Plus I am getting me a new system this year either a Wii or a Playstation 3. I havent made up my mind cause both are getting good games this year.

White Knight Chronicles

InFamous

Final Fantasy - Echoes of Time

Mad World

The Conduit

Quantum Theory

Why I may get my Transformers info mixed up or wrong at times, I am never wrong on the games and I know every game coming out until at least 2010.

Mass Effect 2 TBA 2010

Mass Effect DLC Content Part 2 maybe at E3 bigger than 'Bringing Down the Sky was and could possible connect to the opener of ME 2.

Gears of War - Prequel Game who didnt see this coming

Ar Tonelico 3

Lots and lots of other games coming out too many to mention. That is not necessarily a good thing why many of these games are indeed big budget titles some of these could suck.

So dont get your hopes up about some of these titles we have been disappointed before with new releases.
