Here is what I have been working on for the last month. A few more paint aps and they will be done.

Megatron from Evac. The windows are dyed red but you really can't see it in the pics.



Alternators Megatron The windows and lights are dyed red but you can't see them in the pics. Also made my first scratch head.



Titanium evil jetfire. These Titaniums are a pain in the ass to paint.



Classics Megs with a better paint job, and prime into nemesis Prime (just started these 2)



Alt. mode pics when they are completed.

I love that Classics Megatron. It really improved the mold. I would have left the orange tip though, just for safety reasons, but it looks fantastic.

One question, did you remove the wings, or are they just hidden?

Lol...just look to the bottom far right in the pic...you should see part of the shell painted.

I'm working on touching up my Classics Megatron right now. I like the idea of the inside of the shell black (As seen in my Old Unicron pics i've done before) but instead of painting the entire inside black I masked off the clear peices after painting it clear red and then coated the inside black.

That way in gun mode you still see the clear plastic except now it's a dark red.

Most choices he went with black in bot mode on mine will be silver instead and instead of painting the grip of the handle red I'm painting the inner mechanics under the guard red instead.

I'm also considering giving him a Entirely different head. I might go with the Tit Megatron head instead but I might just leave it as is with some new paint touchups. I already took out the light pipe eyes and painted that clear red. (The green eyes were bugging me. Makes me think more of good guys)

Anyhoo, i'm back off to work on him. Look for updates in the Minor Mods section under the classics Mods thread. Also keep in mind you can all share pics of your minor mods of your classics there as well even if you started a thread already. I'd like to try and keep pics of mods done to them there in one thread. (Instead of multipal)

I'm in the middle of my megatron as well, I found a really sweet bare metal finish silver paint to use. the shells are that color on both sides, but the clear parts are still there in red, same for his eyes. I'm going for a hybrid between cartoon and toy megs.. mainly toon. I just took one WIP pic of the wings, waist and chest pieces drying but I didn't wanna hijack this guys thread.

so do your jetfire's wings pop off all the freakin time too. I just bought him tonight and it looks like the wing assembly will come off easier than a GIJoe backpack. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem?

Actually I have been working on that. If I make the peg longer and keep it held on with a screw, It might just have to rotate for the transformation.
Just gotta drill the hole on jetfires back a little deeper, and use a piece of tube styrene on the backpack and voila.

Update to my alt megs. added an arm cannon, and shoulder mod. I am especially proud of the arm cannon:


it lights up!!! FIRE!

Dude, where do you find the time to do all of these. There insane! I haven't even seen a tit scourge in the stores yet and you already repainted one. I was not too impressed with megs arm cannon until FIRE! nice I actually smiled. Thanks

Well I am a union boilermaker, so sometimes I get a lot of down time (laid off) and other times I work so much I am stupid and tired. But when I get the down time to rest, I go TF hunting and buy a few of every one I want. (the Boilermaker pay is great ). When I have the time I get so many ideas for bashes, I just jot them down and when I get around to them to just do them.-No TF is safe from my clutches.
Thanks for the kind words with Megs cannon. It is the first time I have done anything with electronics. And now I want to do alot more.

Fromwednesday747, here are some closeups of megs head. I am sorry if they aren't great, I have an old Cam. I have been looking for a new one for about a year now.-they just keep upgrading and getting better every month. And the prices keep upgrading too.









It is a Skids Head with some styrene and Tamaya 2 part epoxy sculping putty. I used testors enamel paint silver, aluminum, and Rouge red all gloss.

Nice work, especially the Alt Megs cannon and head. I'd never thought of modding Skids' head for him.

As for the camera, I'd wait just a little bit longer till after Christmas and New Year and check out the sales. I got mine a couple of years back, but it was £120, and should have been about £170. I like my camera lots. Sales are your friends.

Generally, I've noticed you can get some sweet deals on a digital camera on Black Friday if you're willing to weather the storm, hehe.
