-Kanrabat- wrote:I mean, yes, they are tiny, but if we conveniently ignore the FOC Bruticus and Jazz molds (who were complete garbage) the new Genarations deluxes are INCREDIBLE! Simple but clever transformations, always great looking in both bot mode and vehicle mode... with a generous quantities of paint aps!
FOC Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus were great, FOC Starscream and TC are awesome, and Gen IDW Megs, Orion Pax, and Trailcutter are just perfect! Also, most of them come with big weapons that are not dinky looking. If less plastic mean increased overall quality, I'm all for it.
So, wadda y'all think?
It Is Him wrote:Trailcutter is painfully short, and FOC Bruticus does not suck - you're all wrong about that even if you guys don't realize it yet.
The problem is the price tag. If Hasbro made Bigger deluxes, or threw in more accessories, I wouldn't complain. Except now we're often paying $16 for deluxes. We're getting less for more money.

Tronus_Rex wrote:What I love about the small figures is how well they go with Metroplex '13. Also makes the beast/predacon transformers look MUCH bigger. Imagine placing "Bumblebut" next to either of the really big Predaking toys. It's also funny to imagine sentai transformers. Rita Repulsa coming around and making TFP Shockwave - "Grow!!!"
