YTV has posted the episode description for todays new episode "Velocity" Here's the synopsis:

investigating a mysterious race car, Bumblebee gets involved with an illegal underground street racing circuit, which also captures the attention of the Decepticons

This episode is rumored to feature the first Animated appearance of Blurr. Blurr is a fast talking Autobot voiced by his G1 voice actor John Moschitta!

Kind of a boring episode.

The good:
We get to see Blurr in vehical mode.

The bad:
We DON'T get to see Blurr in robot mode.
Apparanetly you can control any Cybertonian with a piece of the Allspark and a RC car radio controller.

Actually now that I said that, this would have been a better episode for Arcee to make a return. Arcee being controlled by RC car remote? Arcee. RC. Get it? :lol:

Yeah, not that funny. Either way, I wouldn't worry about missing this episode.

There's not even any G1 fan-wank. They could have made the other cars look like stunticons and Master Disaster's truck like Motormaster. ****, they should have called the guy Motormaster! And it looked like he wanted to copy the Cobra logo, but it wasn't as obvious as it should have been. They could have easily slapped a real Cobra logo on the truck and put the guy in blue jumpsuit, cape, and helmet with a silver windscreen. And had Pat voice him. That's if they really wanted to fan-wank it up.

Oh please.. we don't even "know" its Blurr yet. Heck, the fact that there was no Robot mode in that episode is absolutely annoying.

I guess I'll have to wait again..

The first thing that went through my mind when those street racers went by was "Stunticons!". If only, that would have been awesome.

Even though I don't have much to say, this was a pretty cool episode over all.

Fairly decent episode, even if we are treated to yet another B level human villian. Fortunately, once Blitzwing shows up, he takes a back seat. And Master Disaster wasn't as annoying as, say, Angry Archer, Headmaster or (dear God) Prof. Princess.

As for the lack of previous TF series references, I think it was a good reprieve. Especially after the loaded G1 referencing episode that was "Garbage In, Garbage Out." I think the writers decided the fans were G1ed out - and maybe they were too.

And we got more Blitzwing craziness.
"I'm not in control of myself!" (switches to crazy face) "Not that I was before!"

(Angry) "Never surrender!"
(Cool) "Never give up"
(Crazy) "Never mind!"

I found that quite funny.

Nice episode, if unimpressive. I likey Blitzwing. Bullhead taking the smart watchful role was a nice touch, even though he ended up frozen! And now that Blurr is functioning alone, maybe he'll transform next time we see him.

I like episodes with more importance better, but this one was an acceptable fill-in.

The more I watch Blitzwing, the more I get the impression his multiple personalities don't show up as randomly as we've been led to believe. Can't put my finger on what exactly, but sometimes, it feels like old Blitzy's personalities are just "emotional" reactions to certain situations.

I kinda mad i spent 30 minutes waiting 2 see Blurr Bot mode and nuthing and i mean nuthing happen :-x

I just hope in the lata eps that Blurr wasnt try 2 blow his cover so that why he remind in his alt mode but at least i got 2 see more of ole Blitzie mayhem tho

You're all totally wrong about this car being Blurr. In reality, the driver of that car was Speed Racer.

Think about it. What opens this weekend and will still be playing next weekend: Speed Racer. Sure, Mattel - not Hasbro - owns the rights to Speed Racer, but companies have been known to cross promote before. In fact, I heard that Optimus Prime's movie truck mode shows up in Speed Racer.

Everything I've said is a bold-faced lie. :grin:

In seriousness, this episode really lacked a payoff as to the identify of the blue car. Lots of hints that it is cybertronian, but why would it never transform? A anti-climactic episode to say the least.

They've never been random, except for his insane face. His Arnold-face appears when he is aggressive and attacking, his Col. Klink face appears when he is being logical, and his jack-o-lantern maniac pops up from time to time, but especially when he is hyped up about something.

very good episode - and i wasn't once annoyed by blitzwing, finding him quite amusing

and it seems to serve its purpose to get peeps curious bout a new bot bein introduced.

instead of villain of the week vs arc episodes (cos there is an arc isn't there?) they seem to be shifting to new bot of the week episodes vs arcs

the less humans the better, tho master disaster was one of the better villains. i'm waiting for some villain called zarak to appear now.

not a bad episode and I thought I recognized AM Prime`s truckbase in Master Disaster`s truck....diferent colors sure, but the design seems very similar to me.

"Velocity" was a yawner....totally boring! All we managed to get was an idea that that blue car MIGHT be Blurr (we all know it is, but at least we could have seen robot-mode!)....oh yeah, and another lame-ass human villian...yippee...NOT! The least they could have done was made at least ONE of those other racers a Stunticon....That would have gotten MY interest (I got me a soft spot for the Stunticons....Have no idea why!)

If it wasn't for the appearance of Blitzwing, the whole ep would have been a total wash for me.....

...Speaking of Blitzwing, the more I see of him, the better I like him! At first, I thought he was just a total loser.....not amusing at all....but the more I see him, the better I like him! That "Crazy-face" of his just slays me nearly every time it comes around...always got some insanely hilarious quip to impart upon us!

I agree with sentiments already expressed. The episode didn't do much for me either.

Major fail for the new villain of the week. He's not compelling, he's not threatening, he's not even amusing. And to top it off, a highly irritating voice. About the only thing he has going for him is the cool truck. He's right down there with Angry Archer.
