I was playing Escalation with Air Raid (see my essay on him) when I realized that someone was playing as...Zeta Prime. it registered as him, and when he talked he spoke as though Zeta were leading a battle. It appears he had Optimus Prime's abilities (dash and warcry; i was affected by the latter) so I think this possible hack may have been a switch with Optimus. The player goes by Matrix Prime. unless some dlc got released for pc i never knew about got released I want to hear feedback on what you guys think.

There is no DLC currently released for PC. That guy probobly just had a graphics hack, mixed with an Audio hack. Sorry if he got your hopes up, but there is no DLC for PC.

Oh I know there's no dlc (wish there was), just wanna know why. today i somehow had 1679 shots in a fusion cannon. Guess that's what you get for playing pc with a lot of hacking cheaters...

Its not a DLC but it is a mod for the game.

It unlocks zeta and the other characters. As well as a bunch of other stuff.

Two things:

1 is it free?

and

2 would it be considered a hack?

if yes to 1 and no to 2, I might look into it.

Answer to number 1 is yes... We dont want your money...

Answer to number 2 is no... its a mod...

all it is, is replacing the existing coalesced.ini file with the one you can download on the forums. No trainers or third party downloads or anything of that kind. We just changed some existing values that were already built into the game.

alrightty, i downloaded it, now how should it work?

Im assuming you have the retail version of the game? Open the game folder and search for the CookedPC folder. I have the steam version so Im not exactly sure what the path is for the retail... Replace the existing Coalesced.ini file with the one you just downloaded. But save a copy of the existing one just in case something happens. Make sure the new one is the same name as the old one... Then open up the game, go to escalation and you should have the new characters.

I dont know if you read the thread over there. But all the new characters (except zeta) did not have their models included in the game. So we had to use existing models to replace them. i.e. jazz looks like sideswipe in game, but has jazz's powers. Jazz's avatar come up as well.

hmm...there's about a couple hundred files there, and i can't find the one i want to replace?

sorry wrong folder name... Search for the "config" folder. should be under the "transgame" folder
