For those of you lucky enough to have the set, can anyone tell me if Corona Sparkplug is any different from his US release?

Sorry to have to correct you on this one CP but there is a minor colour variation. The Corona figure that comes with the Magna Convoy set has a more silvery gold finish than the one from the Hasbro PL Prime which is more of a 'solid' gold.

If there are variances, I would think it's the result of being produced at different times and with different batches of paint.

It's a pretty good price on sale now, isn't it? Sub $200. I'm just trying to make sure it has the instructions and Magna Convoy character card, because the vintage listing doesn't say either way.

There are only 4 different versions of the Corona Sparkplug mold.
3 from Micron Booster 1 and 1 from PL OP, Magna Convoy DX giftset and Energon OP + Overload. All 3 are the same. A similar situation is valid for the Sparkplug mold: Rod, Atlas, LD and the yellow one, same for Armada OP, ML Convoy SM and Kmart OP.

I started assembling genomes. Nucleotides are even more collectibles than minicons, I already have gazillions of them :-D
