She was given things to do and say but she needs a more Carly like boldness. With her automotive skills they could make a blending of a Sparkplug/Carly type of characterization for Mikaela in TF3. I wouldn't mind seeing her actually get more active on screen and not just showing off her body parts. In the first movie she hacks up Frenzy and beheads him where Sam was helpless. Then she helped BB take down Brawl with the tow truck. I want to see her get more gutsy and actively fight Decepticons as Carly would. I would also like to see her helping out Ratchet repair Autobots as Sparkplug would in G1. She could try and take down Decepticons too like Carly would. She shouldn't have to only cling onto Sam's arm in the major battle scenes.

I think Megan Fox would like that too. I'm rooting for her! The movie doesn't have to solely revolve around Sam. As a Fem-con I believe females should be shown kicking ass, it worked for Lara Croft. Mikaela doesn't have to be a Lara Croft in fighting skills or start wielding weaponry. But she is insisting on sticking around the major fights as she did in ROTF, she should become more aggressive and make our jaws drop. I think it would make the lady fans proud too. Hell even Leia on Star Wars was a brave fighter. I say give more bold substance to Mikaela!!!
