I'm on the fence with Downbeat (looks great but probably one of those "gets replaced by official in two years" things), and that set isn't helping my rational side win out.Ironhidensh wrote:Do I want to order that set for Downbeat before he is released?

Emerje wrote:The Galvatron helmet isn't bad, but I wish it didn't expose so much of the Titan Master around the face. Would look better without the visible gray areas I think. Kinda big, too, looks too much like a helmet on a helmet. Great idea, just wish it was smaller, still better than the original, though.

How can it be smaller?

There is a lot of extra plastic there. I know they're trying to bulk it out to bring it up to Voyager size, but I think they went overboard on it.
Look at how far it hangs off the back, that's massive! And from the front with so much of the the Titan Master helmet exposed it just looks like Galvatron is wearing a helmet that doesn't really fit. For all of the original mask's shortcomings at least it covered more from the front.
Plus it's very bland compared to the rest of the figure.
