It's been a very long time since I've seen a topic like this. Too long, actually. As I'm sure a few Decepticons on our side now would agree, one of the first things to getting organized, is to back each other up in missions. I know, most of you stay in the arena. But trust me, that's slow, and the payout isn't exactly worth staying long in the Arena. Sooner or later, we have to move into the REAL payouts. The missions.

At first, I was kicking tailpipe, but now, I'm often the one getting my tail handed to me. Only so long you can view your announcements page with the missions being dominated by Yellow and Purple Badges before you start getting sick of it. So I was wondering. Why isn't there a topic for requesting back-up here in the Maximal forum (IF there is, please kindly point it out to me, unless it's too old to post in that is)? There used to be one for Autobots exclusively in the Autobot forum (for those of us who remember that.) And one in the General forum. Though that one attracted a lot of enemy attention (Don't know about the Decepticons, but I'm pretty sure there was one, and may still be one). Still, the idea was good, and it worked while it was around.

So, as the Japanese say, it takes one drop of water to make a tsunami. So, I might as well do this. Who knows? Maybe you guys were waiting for someone to start this? Well, it's time we get started. Now, for the meat of this reinforcements program.

Rules are simple, if many. Look for a mission that's going on at the moment. Be it with your team, or someone else's team. Send your guys into it. Next, highlight and copy the link. (If you need to have that explained to you, you're in deep trouble.) Create a post here, put the link in your post, type the name of the mission, list it's level, and how much time is left by your estimate, unless you have a separate window or tab open for it. And of course, ask politely for help.

To get this going, I'll post some missions I'm in now. Though I don't expect this to really get started until the new missions get added.

All are for levels 0~3. I'm not putting my guys in level 3~6 missions, I want to make my guys available to work with the lower level maximals so that they can grow as quickly as possible.

Things are turning around for us. I'm hoping that once some of the arena dwellers start realizing that there's plenty of backup in missions now, that they'll start heading into missions as well for the higher XP payoffs.

I seem to be getting plenty of high level backup now, between Triggeryhappy, Wrath, Tifereth, Sprockitz, poit, Rolltide and Windracer, but in the 3-6 missions we still can't seem to get a full team of six yet, hopefully that'll change. How are you guys doing in the 0-3s?

I was taking a royal beatdown in any of the 3-6 missions so I stopped putting my lv three guys in them. I am going to focus on using my level 3s to help in the 0~3 missions. I am only a few days away from having my 7th guy reach level 3.

But until the missions get re-written or I start seeing 3~6 missions with at least 3 others maximals and a good ammount of opposition I will not be puting my guys in them to take a few hits for zero XP.

I can do us alot more good in the lower missions, helping encourage the lowest amongst us to keep going in to missions and get a few levels under their belts.

Ok Maximals, 2 on 6 right now, back up wanted and needed, plus it'll be a great XP for 0's since theres 3 Lvl1 Con's...Let's take em out.

Thanks for using the proper view mission link instead of the join mission link. I like being able to see a mission even when I have no active bots. It drives me crazy when I click on a mission to see if it's something I can potentially help with and all I get is the screen saying "There are no missions you can join."

Would it be worth our time to trade IM addresses, or maybe set up a common room on quakenet or another IRC network to plan backup? It's hard enough to get people for the small window that a mission is open on a forum, something interactive might be more useful.

Maximals, I need some serious backup, I'm talking four to five bots per link here. As of right now I am ridiculously outnumbered in every mission I've entered. As much as I would love to play the role of the Hollywood one-man army, that is unfeasible in HMW. So, please help.
