I was a bit reluctant to watch the premiere since I, personally, never found this scare hidden-cam shows to be very scary or entertaining, but I'm glad I did.

Room 401, which is a brand new addition to MTV, is the most entertaining hidden camera show that may have ever existed and that's just from watching the premiere episode.

It was a half-hour show with four different bits where unsuspecting individuals experience insanity through actors and very talented illusionists who didn't stop or even tell them that it was a trick.

There was no tagline like "You should be scared, your on Scare Tactics"; instead all of the actors and crew continued the scam far past the point of joke and allowed the people to still believe what they had seen was real.

I hope they keep it up.

its like scare tactics but a with illusions. sounds like crap the only good thing on mtv is scarred. that way i sit there and see ppl breakin a bone then screaming and i would say "you scream like a b*tch how about i break your other arm"

my thought also. it should be in sci-fi just like ST. but MTV? whats mtv up to now? all i see is a bunch of young guys dating MILFS so they can get to their daughter. and i heard mtv and paramount are remaking "the warriors" come on a remake? seriously that is a no no no. mtv is destroying a classic right there. watch scarred its more funny how they fall and scream and with dramatic pain then you could say "you know you were gonna fall but noooo you went for it, thats the price you pay"
