Hey now, I really thought Circuitbreaker was cool when I was a kid. Of course, I haven't read those comics since then, so maybe the concept hasn't aged well.

Circuitbreaker is awesome. A half-mad girl wrapped only in some tinfoil who has enough power to stop the planet-eater? Automatic win.
I think she is a very underused character. But NO to making a male version of her.

it's Bayformers, when they say 'lead role' they don't mean any of the transformers, he'll just be another human character that can kill deceptcons apparantly easier than the autobots
