Yeah there is a script but he is known for adding thing's in the script to fit him. He does it all the time. You think a purple and yellow fish would of had its a BLACK THING written in to the script? No he added that in there. I just hope he doesnt do it in this movie if he does get it.

Jazz loved absorbing Earth customs and traits. It would very much be in his character.

I think he'd make a great Jazz , i hope this is true news.. The man is a great actor. Every movie he's been in he shows true tallent and that he can play a comedy, action, and dramatic and so on .. DMX i didnt hear that about him trying out LOL that would be a huge mistake , that boy can't act he should stick music..

Uh...Not really. There were much more recognized black actors that paved the way. Morgan Freeman anyone?

And I'm still trying to understand how it's a "black thing" that black actors bring some of their own personality into roles. Almost all actors do that.

He accepts a lot of BS typecast roles but he's also done The Legend of Bagger Vance, The Pursuit of Hayypness, and Ali (even if his performance wasn't all that great, it was a serious role). He's no Lawrence Fishburn and he hasn't had any real breakout performances like Jamie Foxx but at least he isn't Eddie Murphy.

With that Said I don't think He would be a good Jazz I'm with Phil Lamarr on this one.

I think they should hire Jazzy Jeff instead. Even Will Smith used to call Jeff "Jazz" in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (and possibly outside it, too). It's almost destiny.

I watched that show just the other day on alluc.org. It was the one with Billy the droid. Uncanny how Ironhide-esq the voice was.

I would go with Phil Lamarr too! Will Smith is not under attack for his acting career. I know he has good movies. But his non serious roles like Sharktale,Independence Day, I Robot, Men in Black and a few others he has said this line or something to the same effect. Maybe I should not have said every movie. I think there might have been 3 movies he did not do it. Look back at his old movies you will see what I am talking about. I was a big fan of his but I just got tired of him saying the same thing in his movies. Now it has become a game for me to see how he will put it in the movie.

I'm beginning to think they should just dash it all and hire Stephen Fry. It would be splendid.
