Claiming Fox News has real journalists is like claiming Twilight has real vampires, it's just illogical.

Ah, okay. I only saw the poster for the movie at my local theater when I saw ROTF.

Sounds similar to (I believe the film was done in the 1950s)
"The Bad Seed" about a little girl without a conscience(sp); just a rearrangement of the family dynamic.

1956 to be exact. It's part of the film cycle. We get tired of 'crazy beyotches' (Single White Female, Fatal Attraction, Obsessed) and move on to 'crazy children'. (The Exorcist, The Omen, The Bad Seed). Strange how we don't have a lot of 'crazy psycho daddies'--the only one that springs to my mind (correct me if I'm missing a bunch) is, of course, The Shining.

There was also a movie called The Stepfather, 1986 IIRC, it's currently being remade for a release later this year.

The two theaters near me only charge $3 (The farther one) or $5 (The closer and nicer one) for adult matinees. I think I get bragging rights for that or something.

Problem with that theory is, if they're demons or demonically possessed, you're crap out of luck with a ploy like that.
Quite doubtful the fall or whatever would do the trick, and even if it did work, the parents have become no better than the creature they were trying to stop, and therefore the Devil has won.
I haven't seen Orphan, so I don't know whether she's psychologically messed up, or possessed, but in movies like The Good Son? Yeah, throw 'em in a wheat thresher and keep walkin'.
