SC - Back from the dead!
- Motto: "Embrace your inner geek, the geek will inherit the Earth!"

Hey folks,
Been AWOL for far too long so I thought I'd finally resurface and let you guys & gals know what's been going on.
All change here though I see so Congrats Mkall, commiserations OS (I know that family's gotta come first too fella) and *cough* anyone wanna by a job lot of Battle Blades! (lol) - I must learn how to use the new board...
Anyway I left my last job (redundancy) in mid November 2007 so lost everyday use of my work PC and as Mini-collider was in need of a lot of care (screaming with colic) I couldn't get online regularly. Since then he's improved no end (and bless 'im he looks just like me when I was that age!) but I needed a job so any online time I could grab was taken up by jobsearching. Heck I even sold my soul to the british government and went on joseekers allowance... Sadly late Nov early Dec my home PC developed a nasty hardware problem which I've still not been able to fix so that kissed goodbye to any online life at all and lost me a heck of a lot of data (including all my fanfics in the making...). rapidly followed by that I lost my Grandad just before we were due to introduce him to Mini-collider (on my birthday actually...) and frankly I'm still recovering from that. Got a laptop (using it now) with Vista (grrrr) and wireless and all that gubbins just after Christmas but it still took me until now to get my broadband working on it (talktalk - grrrrr).
So, life seems to have been an arse since Aug 2007 what with losing relatives with alarming frequency, my car crash, losing my job, losing my PC, seriously, everything just seems to be a little more difficult than it really should be. Ah well, **** happens and at least I'm almost on top of stuff now and finally caught up with Looking For Group (best webcomic going!) recently.
So... I start a temp assignment on Monday and should it work out I should be online at lunchtimes again very soon, depending on their internet abuse rules or whether I can bring the laptop and jack someone's wi-fi. So watch out Cons, SC's back and his HMW Team's badly out of shape!
Toy wise - So Classics Prowl's been announced, seen and looking good. Damn you hasbro/takara! I just shelled out for a KO Alt Prowl thinking you'd never do cla. Prowl! Now just do me Jazz & Shockwave in classics and make up for it!
I find this particularly funny - I order Sixtrain from Hong Kong early January and it arrives in 4 days, it arrived just before the stickers & Elita-1 I ordered from the USA back in early November!
Oh and no prizes for guessing which Definative Edition DVD I got duplicates of at Christmas! (hint - it's not Transformers)
Gotta learn how to put this into a sign but: Hunting for a cheap Classics Skywarp & Alt/BT Jazz if anyone knows of any (KO's gladly considered)

Mini-collider indicates he's purely up for hanging with the micromasters for the time being but might be open to bribery in the near future! Anything involving trains (I just bought *cough* him Sixtrain), "in the night garden" or overly large stuffed rabbits considered...
Actually Psychout he indicated Zombie Cheerleader's head on a platter would make him quite happy!

Welcome back SC! Now, if we could just get HMW working again long enough we can restart Fight Club properly.

Good to hear things are turning around. Hope things continue to get better.
