Cheeky and dickheaded, but brilliant.
No brilliant was when they released Silverbolt, Onslaught, Menasor, and a few versions of Motorbreath before and we bought them.
Cobotron wrote:Hey! You seemed to have attracted a wild Megatronus. They're hard to find, but boy are they fun when you catch one!
Mindmaster wrote:Just noticed something about the Superion image. He's got two Fireflys (Fireflies?) as his arms, and no trace of Air Raid.
Skywarp64 wrote:Anyone else find it hilarious that, in the Superion picture, there are two Fireflights and no Air Raid?
Rated X wrote:That Slingshot helicopter and Wildrider truck is just plain wrong. It's like if Hasbro did it on purpose. They basically said, lets nail 4 and get the 5th one all wrong just to piss off the fans. It's always something with Hasbro. If they are scramble city, we can always hope Funpub makes good on where Hasbro failed. A proper Slingshot repaint with retooled wings from the Fireflight mold. And a repaint of Breakdown with a new Wildrider head. And maybe Dr. Wu can make a new head that looks more like Menasor and less like Unicron.

But Ultra Class Onslaught and Silverbolt are awesome... I have no regrets there.
Wolfman Jake wrote:If these new combiners really are "Scramble City" types, I can see Hasbro releasing a proper Slingshot and Wildrider further down the line that you can use instead of Alpha Bravo or Offroad. Think about it. They get you two buy these alternate "new" characters as limbs now to complete each combiner, then throw the rest of the proper team members our way later, making us buy two toys we may have passed on had they come later on instead. It's brilliant marketing.
Mindmaster wrote:Diem wrote:The same for Wildrider. I am reaaaaaaaally hoping for a Technobot set.
You're wanting a Technobot set, I'm wanting a Combaticon set, everybody's wanting a Constructicon set...
Tigertrack wrote:Club get to plans for my G2 colored Stunticons and Aerialbots please.
It Is Him wrote:Didn't see this being said before, but Alpha Bravo's bot mode is pretty much Slingshot. The head sculpt and the body style is spot on, and I couldn't be more excited
versus this
shockblast2 wrote:What idiot Hasbro executive thinks the children (to whom this toy line survives) will give a **** about obscure combiner characters? Not to mention the fact that parents are not going to shell out $90 each for these. Yeah, the adult fans will buy them, but they are a VERY small percentage of sales. And at $16 a pop, this line is finished.
With Hasbro's crap quality these days, I will be surprised that if they can even stand up straight.
