What's taking them AND BBTS so long??? It's crazy that people on the slow boat shipping all have him in hand and I haven't even paid for him!

I got mine from A3U. They're prices are on par with erryone else, but they're Canada based so shipping is worlds better for us. And orders over 250 are shipped for free. Which... is actually pretty lame, because that's a crazy high number to reach to qualify for free shipping while TFS is only 100 for its residents (I think?). But hey, it's something I guess.

Yeah, there's a small flock of us admiring all the Greatshots with empty pre-orders from both stores.

And its $150 for free shipping.

That is a high $250 for A3U, but at least it works out better for the canadians!

Wave2!!!! Great scores, Shaj -- this wave has been hard to find. So far, Target had them in once in the past month or so, but keep on getting more of wave1 and the SS figures. I have yet to see SG Roddy at the stores, and the other leaders disappear quickly as well. It makes me concerned about getting all the Terrorcons & Novastar...

Only Starscream is shelf-warmin'.

Did you see that Volcanicus upgrade kit BTW? I pre-ordered it because I love my Dinobots enough that they need the sword and those cool ass feet. Much like Ruination, the Upgrade kit looks beautiful, and the figure itself is worth it enough to me to get the upgrade.

Not gonna lie... I'm very strongly considering getting the Wave 3 Deluxe's, super early, on the super expensive, just cause I CAN'T WAIT

I did! It blows the PE set out of the water. I think I've seen color proto's, and they have gold claws/toes which looks worlds better. PE's red looks like... painted toenails

It'll be a slow year for me too. Even though our personal definitions of slow are vastly different

I finally got around to pairing up Dreadwind with Blackwing. Unfortunately I think they shine better separately, but the combined jet isn't exactly a throwaway. It's just slightly flimsy, and it's best look (IMO) is only achievable if you pop Blackwing's wings and flip them. Keeping them together is one peg that flips out (rather ingeniously actually) and that's it. So it's not terribly solid.

Ultimately it's still pretty amazing these were made, and I'm happy with them

I'm not crazy about Dreadwing, but I definitely agree -- the two look great individually, in either mode. I am kinda surprised Dreadwing seems to be the shelf-warmer of wave1....I guess it's cuz the lack of name recognition; especially compared to Jazz and the Dinobots. :/

I like the quick and easy mod there for WING CROSS!!

Studio Series Grimlock...
I'm sort of up and down about him. Some things are unbelievable, others are irritating.

First off, he looks amazing in both modes.
In bot mode at first I thought his articulation was limited, but after playing around I could see he's capable of many fun poses. I'm not crazy about the mace hand, but it's growing on me. And I hate one-piece groin plates, but it actually didn't get in the way too much.

Rex mode is a little more limited. The legs can be sort of static, and the head is disappointing. No neck swivel, hinge at the head, and only the lower jaw moves with a one notch hinge. And most annoyingly, his back skirt piece makes up the bottom of the tail, which does not secure at all. It's just friction, and (on my copy anyways) it isn't strong enough to stay together and flops down.

Strangely even with his limitations, I really like him. I'll repeat that he looks phenomenal, and is worlds above previous Bay Grims. If you're already a fan of the concept, you'll probably be happy with him.
