Then ask Hasbro why they put an awesome figure that also happens to be an army builder 1 per case. The deluxe figures are getting smaller and more expensive? So is everything else.

Being compared to the likes of Jackson and Cameron in the interview is a complete joke...could you boost the guys ego anymore than it already has been? When it comes to all fandoms there are pricks in every set...bashing each other solves nothing. I have as much respect for the Trekers and Star Wars fans as the TF fans. If Bay wants to do this movie right...then the inevitable has to happen...kill Bumblebee in the opening sequence! Bring in Hot Shot or add some beasts to the bunch and bring in Cheetor. We need a young new hothead in the group with a lot to learn that is not just comic relief. Optimus needs to age a bit...not falling apart like Jetfire but enough to show he has battle scars. Bring in the rest of the seekers and have a new leader emerge among them. Give the Autobots some damn air support...I want to see Sky Linx. There are so many things that can be done. As far as the leader goes...well I'd hate to see Galvatron...but Bay doesn't have much of an imagination.
I'd like to see Galvatron, but only if he is done right.
Also would love to see the following:
Dinobots
Insecticons
Headmasters
Trypticon or Metroplex or Omega Supreme

I'm fine with him being a warrior and all but I'd rather ripping heads and appendages off be a last resort and not hear him say "Give me your face," "We'll kill them all," and "You die!" So, basically how he was in the first movie.
I don't know why they haven't just said it is a sequel all along. It's obviously not a reboot and if it picks up from Chicago, then it doesn't seem to be a reinvention or whatever else has been suggested. Anyway I'm all for another movie(s), though I doubt any will be better than the first for me, it got me back interested in Transformers and into collecting in general. And I'm ready to hear some info on the premise and villians of TF 4!

Like any hero, he should reflect on the death of his enemy and wish it didn't have to come to this, which the first movie got right, except it shouldn't have been fricking Sam who offed Megs.

The way the game ended was much better. First he beat Megatron and then...
Personally I prefer it when Optimus is kicking ass and taking faces. It makes the Decepticons seems so much more evil. Here's a guy who has shown immense compassion to the human race, treating them as equals and sacrificing himself to protect them. But when he reacts so violently toward the Decepticons it tells me he's seen the horrible things they're capable of and how dangerous they can be when left unchallenged. Kinda like what makes the Joker a great villain. He's able to bring out the worst in Batman.

The other thing you need to factor in too is change in buying habits.
A lot of people are moving their shopping online. Shopping for your kid? Do it from home, you don't have to go running from store to store to find a particular toy, or worse, have to drag the kids along and let them see what they're getting.
People seem to forget all this and just scream "BAY IS TEH EVIL!". Get over it people and look at the bigger picture.
