Well, after much distraction IRL, I return to my neglected Maximal space fleet... only to find out I am now an Autobot, and my favorite faction is vaporware. No complaints here, I will adapt and move on. But could someone give me the one post version of what changed since December 2008?

I'm not sure what the circumstances were since I was MIA for a while too, but at some point the Beast factions were reintegrated into the G1 factions, probably due to the fact that both Maximals and Predacons were grossly outnumbered by the Autobots and Decepticons.

The maximals and preds went he way of the dinosaurs because there wasn't enough players in either faction for them to compete. Before they were folded in, the forums were folded into Iacon and Darkmount. That was about 2ish months before the factions were dismissed. There was a chance to choose your faction your team would be moved to, a hand full of maxi's smelled victory and went Decepticon, 2 preds saw a chance to help keep a little balance and went bot.
