I'd say a show accurate Starscream or anoter seeker repaint of that mould is your best bet for MP-06. MP-07 or MP-08, they might be new moulds unless they do a Megatron repaint?

Agreed with the seeker repaints. As amazing as MP-03 is, I have not bought it yet as it just does not look like Starscream to me. I'm sure a number of people have voiced this issue to Takara and I fully expect an accurate Starscream for 06, maybe followed by Thundercracker and Skywarp.

I think the chances of Wheelie, OP, are a big zero. (Annoying little f*** that he is...) :grin:

I could see them doing Rodimus pretty soon though.

However, I think, in light of 04, there is going to be an Ultra Magnus with trailer and body armor right around the corner. (Fingers Crossed. A soundwave, with Blaster repaint would not surprise me either.

Please please god, no Wheelie. Wheelie+ Daniel are my pet peeves from TF. :-x

Only if they are insane, G1 Galvatron was not a Megatron repaint. They'd be nuts to repiant MP Megatron as Galvatron, I expect that would sell even less than MP Starscream has due to it conpromised colour scheme.

Rodimus would be interesting, a more fine tuted Titanium I suspect, Bumblebee wouldn't be very inpiring to buy, maybe a BW Masterpiece? We need an Accurate Blackaracknia...

I think a seeker repaint is the most likely, since it's cheaper to repaint than do R&D for a new mold. Look at the Prime mold, it was released 3 times. I hope they release Thundercracker first, then Sunstorm, then Skywarp and finally, a show-accurate Starscream. Another direction Takara could go for is to release Ultra Magnus with a proper trailer, one which he combines with.

I'd agree the obvious Starscream repaint. I'd also throw in the possibility of Star Saber or Victory Leo.

I agre the most liely would be the seeker repaints, or a Ultra magnus Trailer-combo figure..

In the New Mould category, i see Rodimus Prime..or Galvatron..Skyfire, and or scourge or the sweeps..

But here's another thought, since the Movie is so close and the Japanese Go Nutso over CGI live action, I wouldn't put it past Takara/tomy to produce masterpiece editions of Prime and Megs for the Japanese Market, which would effectively hold off any new molds and would force the repaints of Starscream to become a reality, since it would save them money and still bring in the bucks for the Names values: Skywarp, Thundercracker, Sunstorm, ect... ect...

I don't know about MP-06, but my guess on the next new mold would be either an Autobot car that could me re-painted/slightly re-molded for Prowl, Streak, Smokescreen, etc, or a Ratchet/Ironhide van type.

Although I'd love to see a Shockwave. :PRAY:

My guess is that they probably will do Shockwave, but not right now.

Ironhide is a good chance of being MP-06.

You know I hadn't given much thought to the next MP figure, but I'd be pretty open to anyone.

As a guess I'd say a seeker repaint is probable, although I'd like a bumblebee or Grimlock myself.

Judging by how they've un the line up to now, we're due for some repaints, maybe a black Megs, and/or Browning (I know he's the wrong type of gun). And of course Takara would be insane nbot to use the Seeker mold to it's full repaint potential.

As it has been said we don't need a Ouija board to know we're getting repaints next but as far as new moulds go they'll definitely go for a character that is popular in Japan.

I'm hoping for a bigass show accurate Rodimus Prime though. Yup IMO THAT will bring sexy back. :grin:

There had better be a Starscream repaint. If theres not, I will be ridiculously pissed at having to buy 03 off ebay a couple of years from now. What do you think, maybe 300 big ones at that point.. :sad:

I hope they stick with the G1 series for a while regarding the MP series. A Starscream repaint for MP06 seems quite possible.

How many people on this thread would purchase MP Starscream if he had show accurate colors?

Hey, I'm a big fan of G1 Starscream, but seeing him in the wrong colors put me off in a big way. If they release a show-accurate color of him, I'd put off buying Megatron in favor of him.

If we do see a new Starscream before the obvious repaints, it'll probably be a "complete version" with the coronation gear from the film. Although Takara has to remold the legs to the normal shape, and change the colors, to make me buy such a figure.

i think there's a good chance we could see ONE repaint being the next MP. i cant see them releasing 3 repaints in a row (show accurate starscream, thundercracker, skywarp). that would get real old, real fast at the prices you gotta spend to get an MP.

and im all for them releasing those repaints, just not now. i was too disappointed in the mechanics of the figure to be concerned with paint, im not re-buying it yet.

i really hope they do an autobot next. my collection is gonna look pretty lopsided once megatron comes out. aside from the obvious ultra magnus with trailer, rodimus, grimlock, and iron hide get my vote. and iron hide can be repainted so that would be a logical choice.

i think (hope) that the masterpiece line will stick with G1. if not forever, then at least for the next few years. i, personally, wouldnt buy anything other than G1 and i'd have to assume people like me (nostalgic twenty-somethings finally starting to make some money in the real world) are the target demographic. dont turn me off to the product and im more than happy to keep buying.

Rodimus Prime
Grimlock
Sunstreaker
Soundwave
Hound
Shockwave
Galvatron (not repaint)

I'd love for those to be released in that order.

The Transmetal one was rather accurate.

Yes, I think that Takara's gonna make the most out of the Seeker mold for awhile, at least one or two other seeker characters, such as Thundercracker.

Or maybe they might later use a remolding and make some coneheads, just so the buyers don't bitch about constant repaints, perhaps. :-?
