Yet it is appart maybe the two panels on the sides that could pop off and back on. Same thing for Siege Ironhide.
However, Siege Rachet was a Gamestop/Walgreen exclusive so it may be too expensive. Especially for the fact that it's long sold out and eBay is the only remaining option.
You can still get the Select DK Guard at normal price if you shop around.
BTW, if you have missed out on Siege Omega Supreme, or if you want more of it, the Guardian Robot is freaking awesome.

Also, here's an interesting eBay listing that you should maybe keep watching:

Well, your only option is the SS86 Ironhide and the upcoming SS86 Ratchet.
Your other options are either the BAD Universe molds, or the ultra expensive everything else.

EVERYTHING is perfect with ER Skylinx. The feel, the solidity, the fun factor. It is THE best Commander so far. You can still buy the reissue right now but don't wait for much more.

Huh... Thanks! I was never enamored by the character, but the toy looks neat enough. Any idea how deep it is? My shelf only has 13" to work with and I'd prefer to avoid a profile pose... I could stand him up on hind legs...hmm...

If you have a white toy that is very expensive and you absolutely want to preserve, store it in the dark after play. Not that some toys like certain Siege or recent Shattered Glass toys will yellow regardless because of some chemical imbalance inside the plastics.

The other SS86 figures I own don't feel quite as durable as Siege figures IMHO...

I have it in hand and there's no issues at all. He feels like a good old deluxe from 15 years ago. When you see him in store, get him.
BTW, if you want a "solid" ROTB Rhinox, go for the MAINLINE voyager, not the Studio Series one. The Mainline one look nice enough even though the rhino is a bit too "cubic" and he's not screen accurate at all. However, Mainline Rhinox is SOLID all over and is made for rough play. Plus he's simple to transform.
The perfect looking Studio Series Rhinox have parts that will pop off all over the place if you transform things just slightly pass their tolerances. He's like a mini-masterpiece with screen accuracy down to almost perfection, but he got the fragility that goes with it.
Mkdlmr wrote:Man, you're a fountain of info! Any other G1-ish/War for Cybertron/SS86 figures that are well-built that I should be aware of?

SS86 Perceptor, Blurr, and Sharkticon are excellent.
The Siege/Kingdom Sideswipe mold is solid.
Appart the occasional wing-panel that can pop off, all the SS86 Dinobots are great.
The Siege seeker mold is superior to the Earthrise seeker mold.
Really, most "G1" toys are solid. The ones you should avoid are the Studio Series live action movies toys. Those are flimsy, fiddly, fragile, and have parts that will pop off all over the place at the slightest provocation.
That's about all I know, based on what I bought and played with.
Mkdlmr wrote:Thanks a bunch! I already have Siege Sideswipe and the first three SS86 Dinobots as well as both Seeker molds. I'll have to think about the other SS86 figures you mentioned - can't say I ever cared for those characters though. I just hate being indecisive.

Get SS86 Perceptor and/or Select Magnificus. Both feel so GOOD and SMOOTH in hand. No, really. Blurr is an easy skip, but should be found on clearance easily. Avoid SS86 Kup. He's fiddly and his arms popping-off gimmick is annoying.
Mkdlmr wrote:Gotcha. I'll consider Perceptor. Kinda surprised Blurr wasn't retooled into an Arcee. Their alt modes are very similar looking IMHO. Kingdom/Legacy Blaster feels solid - dunno about Rewind (or is it Eject?)... Clear plastic always leaves me wary.
Do you know if the clear plastic on Omega Supreme's claw is problematic?
Mkdlmr wrote:I hate to pester you, but how does SS86 Brawn scale with Classics Bumblebee?

You better built me a shrine after this.
As you can see, using my Cliffys again, Classic Bee is WAY too big to be "in scale" with any WFC/SS86 toys. The bot is way too big and the "mini car" is bigger than Optimus Prime's truck mode. Even at the time, Classic Bee was way too big compared to Classic Optimus, but the vehicles at least matched better.
Thanks again! Now, to get the wife to approve all these purchases...
TlDr; if scale matter, better stick to a display that is only WFC/SS86. But even so, it shouldn't prevent you from enjoying old Transformers and make a separate display with all those old Generations, Scale be damned.
