Hell, not that I'm complaining mind
Somewhere in Hong Kong, there's a Chinese warehouse worker laying facedown in a puddle of his own blood, with an Armada Unicron embedded into the back of his cranium. And with several TF movie toy items missing.![]()

I'm sorry but these factories are not in hk. Though you might have a sense of humor, you need to work on your understanding of the foreign economics and labor condition before using any jokes related to the subject. No offense, but to anyone who lives in Asia, it would be your lack of knowledge that is actually funny.

Ok, then share with us your knowledge of the factory locations if you're going to critique someone else's knowledge.
One thing you have to remember, though, is that you've actually handled them, & untill today, very few of us had even seen much about how they work, so you were were seeing them from a "been there done that" perspective, where we others had not, so all there was to go by was speculation.Seibertron wrote:Nemesis Cyberplex wrote:That is a pretty neat TF. The automorph feature is pretty lame, though. Not because it's a lame gimmick, so to speak, but because his dosen't do much at all.
Which was my whole point when everyone was arguing about the "auto-morph feature". I was actually really glad that it had a very small part to do with the Transformers' actual transformation. Starscream's is more noticeable than Ratchet's. Starscream's chest "explodes" from the front of the jet to his chest. Ratchet ... it's just his feet making the knee cap and "calf" muscles going into place.

I own them and I'm not sure if I agree with your statement. If Ratchet was colored something other than puke green and had a recognizable "Ratchet" head, then I would agree. The toy itself is a really awesome figure. It's very poseable. It has a very nice alt-mode. But it doesn't represent the character that I've grown to love over the past 23 years. AS much as I like this figure, it's not Ratchet.

I think the key to happiness with the Movie line is to not see it as another Classics or homage line but rather as a fresh take on things. The Movie is clearly only very loosely based on G1, so it shouldn't matter so much if reused names represent radical new designs. Heck, it's not all that different from what they did with Armada except this time the toys seem to be well engineered.
