Just to give you guys a heads up - work has been a bit intense recently to allow me the time to count up the full results of the last round, and I don't think ill have time to count up this round befroe I go away tomorrow so the scores will be delayed for a minimum of another week.

Apologies for the inconvenience, ill see if I can get it done tonight, but it really doesnt look very likely. If anyone's able to give me a hand, the please drop me a PM...

but yea, i agree, three weeks is a long time to count up scores,....has anyone checked to make sure there isn't brain meltdown over there? no muttering to himself going on about integers and variables? always remember, a good neighbor checks on those he cares about.

You know, Psychout, you could make life easier for yourself by making the winning criteria much more simple. If the winning criteria were simply based on the total amount of XP accrued during the tournament, there would be no work for you to do at all. Wouldn't that be nice? Simply declare the top bot on the "High Scores" page to be the winner.

wouldn't work. it inherantly favors the people who play the most, win or lose. PsychO's way gives even those who don't play as much a fighting chance.

Yeah, sorry its still so late. The biggest issue is that I can only count this stuff up at work (I refuse to install MSoffice on my home machine dammit!!) and so when I get given extra projects to do, slippage ensues. But If I've not got it sorted by this friday, then ill have to hand it over to someone as I go on holiday again in the middle of next week.
