This evil so and so deserves more. Hamburgers!

I want Greescream. Unfortunately, I'm a couple of years late and not he's unbuyable.

true dat kan. MP03 was completely functional, and flawless in both modes. just not the SS we wanted. MP11 looks the way we want, but i would say he's the "vastly inferior" one.-Kanrabat- wrote:MP-11 is only good for his bot mode. The flaws begin with the jet mode who suffer a bit. I don't like his undetachable null rays. His chest no longer lock into place. Way too expensive for nothing. No face changing gimmick. It also feel somewhat cheaper.Ironhidensh wrote:Why? The original sure had an inperfect bot mode, but the chest lock in, face change, null rays are more manageable, and the jet is FLAWLESS. I kinda regret having sold my MP-03 G1 colors for MP-11. At least, I have MP-03G. I'd like to have Greenscream because he's the very FIRST MP Starscream and I need it for my Screamers collection.

style/aesthetic-wise, yes. MP11 hands down.megatronus wrote:Really? MP03 is a flawless jet and compromised robot. MP11 is the flawless robot and compromised jet. (From an aesthetic perspective.) Each has its merits, but it's a stretch to say one is hands down better.
I prefer the MP11 styling myself. But that's because robot mode is most important to me (plus... the MP11 deco is way better in my opinion).
ScottyP wrote:The four MP-11 versions I own (holy crap I'm missing two and still have four. Dang.) all have one common problem and it's the only problem I've ever had with it - the little tab that folds up to lock the wings to the back just plain does not stick. They all have flopped back wings at an angle in bot mode.

Wolfman Jake wrote:When people talk about the "chest" not locking in, do you mean the fact that the air intakes come up when you lift up the arms? Just push them back down when you have the arms in position. It's no different than the shoulder "issue" with Generations Blitzwing. Masterpiece figures aren't "toys" in the conventional sense. They're collectors' items with a premium on aesthetics over "playability."

Wolfman Jake wrote:See, I don't even understand how your chest piece isn't "locking in" sufficiently. I can handle my MP-11 molds and move them about, flip them around upside down, shake them, whatever, and the chest stays in place. I've got Hasbro's Thundercracker, Acid Storm, and Sunstorm. None in my collection have this chest problem you speak of.
Leonardo wrote:Take your lips off my pipe!
i dont think that comparison is fair. MP11 is a retool of MP03, whereas 1 and 10 are completely different.Ironhidensh wrote:Wolfman Jake wrote:See, I don't even understand how your chest piece isn't "locking in" sufficiently. Agreed. Those loose comments have me scratching my head as well. I don't think the plane mode was compromised on MP-11 either.
It's like saying MP-1 is better than MP-10. It's nuts. The newer molds are better engineered and far more G1 accurate, simple reality.
