I'd refer to it as "G1-inspired", personally- it's close to G1, but I don't recall Starscream ever covered in soot in G1.

during the tour at 7 am, the guys all over the building said that the mp starscream was a walmart exclusive, and that earlier on there was a confusion about it being a tru exclusive, this is probably where tfw went wrong.
