Yeah seeing this is why I'm playing the long game with Motormaster and Metroplex. Sooner or later there will be a sale and we can get them cheaper. If you watch Amazon closely, sooner or later you'll see a price drop. Blitzwing too. Not paying leader class price for him, especially with how awful his alt modes and stupid gauntlet things are. But he'll drop down at some point, and I'll snag him then just to display him in bot mode and won't feel so bad since I'll have paid less.

I had no real interest in Cybertron Metroplex. But the others I did. Next year if I see an offer online for roughly half price I'll go for it. If not,no loss.

That makes sense, no? If you still have an item taking up space in your warehouse a year after release, then clearancing it is the way to go. It sold out instantly, so there wasn't that much available. Is the toy clearancing elsewhere?

I checked it out this morning and most of the deals weren't deals at all. The original prices were marked way up and the sale price was just the MSRP. I did have the Rescue Bots 3 pack of dino Prime, Bumblebee and motorcycle Grimlock in my cart for $15, but it sold out before I could finish checking out.

That's a pretty big claim considering the sizeable variants of Ultra Magnus (Ultra Magnii?), Snapdragon, Jetfire, Sky Lynx, Omega Supreme, and freaking Unicron.

I do think it was one of the highlights though, and an even better follow-up with PotP Evolution Optimus Prime, but also... Unicroooon.
Personally I have an even bigger soft spot for smaller articulated figures, like WFC:K Optimus or Delux-class Blackarachnia and Waspinator.

There's a few figures here and there which seem like good deals. Though the only one that I was tempted by was the Wrecker repaint of ER Springer. Springer was one of the figures which the minions never saw in stores - except for one box, which had been toyswapped with a Thrilling 30's Springer.

And even though he's a few bucks down in price, I'm still not sure it's worth getting Wrecker Springer, when the Thrilling 30s version seems so much better...

We're you actually able to get that to work? My wife has Target Circle and she tried to combine the coupons but didn't work. Did you do it in store or online?

*Edit* ok I figured out we already used the 25% off coupon on another item last week. Thankfully my daughter had her own Target Circle account so I just used hers, plus Red Card discount came to about $117 shipped. I said I wouldn't get Legacy Metroplex unless he was $100. So I fudged a little. Still this is the least I ever paid for a Titan Class toy, so that's pretty cool.

I paid $121.80, but on top of that I got a $10 digital gift card with my purchase; so if I really want to be cheeky, I can say it only cost me $111.80. Seems like a pretty good deal to me!
