I thought we should create another branch of strategy to Strafe, Ram, and Aviod. So lets talk how we can maxamize these tactics.

This is what I know so far:

Strength --- Ram
Intelligence --- Repair
Speed --- Avoid
Firepower --- Strafe

Ram works such that if the attacker's Strength > target's Strength there is a probability for the target to be stunned; stuns seem to take the target out for approximately 1 minute of performing actions. While stunned they may still Avoid attacks or simply be missed but they will perform no attacks. Given the nature of the current game, beating some target's Strength will be very difficult; you have to weigh your opponents and get to be one Strength higher.

All tactics works such that a higher value increases the probability of using that tactic when it's "your turn" to attack; Strafe works such that not only does probability to use the tactic increase but the quantity of targets increases.

Not sure if Speed actually makes Avoid better nor occur more often - they just go well together as the Speed/Avoid combo has more hits and is more often missed in addition to the Avoids. Avoid works as a good complimentary, defensive tactic though. The 50xp per Avoid is nice, but it is better still when it can setup additional attacks that can lead to victories. For example, the Ram/Avoid combo is great in the Arena because it leads (a) winning, (b) more XP from avoids, (c) high Strength Ram overflow damage; at Level 2 there can be an average of 450 - 650xp from Arena fights (assuming Strength is high enough).

And of course, repair is epic win with proper coordination.

I don't think speed boosts avoid but it simply increases your changes of not being hit since the attacker first has to check against your avoid, if successful, he then gets to check against your speed for hit/miss

Always thought it was the other way... If hit would succeed, does Avoid kick in? Either way you're right though, they compliment each other.

Other thoughts on how to best utilize tactics? Any experience (for example) what Firepower / Strafe combos work best together? Strength / Ram? At various levels?

It can't only be an absent Autobot and renegade Predacon who have thoughts for Autobot combat, can it? :)

I think we should use our Gundam model kits now to overpower the 'Cons, it's what they least expect.

that's the best idea i've heard from iacon in a long time...

alternatively, we could offer the cons some gundam model kits as a "gift"...like the ol' Trojan horse thing :-?

I hope these are still valid as well. Not sure with the adjustments made. So these may be outdated. Still maybe able to help out.

Strafe
frequency= ([strafe] x 3) / 100
First shot Damage% = RANDOM[8~25] x [1+(FP x 0.1)] / [1+(End x 0.1)]
Following Shot damage% = RANDOM[5~10] x [1+(FP x 0.1)]/ [1+(End x 0.1)]

Ram
frequency= ([ram] x 3) / 100
Ram Damage% = RANDOM[19~33] x [1+(Str x 0.1)] / [1+(End x 0.1)]

Avoid
avoid rate=(AVD*0.03)*(1+(SPD/10)

Weapon Damage
% Damage = RANDOM[minD~maxD] x [1+(Str x 0.1)] x [1.5-(End x 0.1)] x [Armor]

Accuracy
([attacker's speed] - [defender's speed] + 16)/ 20

Weapon Ranges
Light = 1-5%
medium = 6-10%
heavy = 11-15%
very heavy = 16-20%
devastating = 21-25%
Incredible = >26%

Like I stated before, I don't know if this is the current setup with the changes were made. Still should give some help.

Yep. ESPECIALLY the "Light to whatever" ones. Your minimum barehanded damage (around 18%) gets overridden by the weapon's minimum (1% XD).
