I would bet with that “inner chest” molded detail that’s a piece of solid plastic.

At the very least, that part, yes. But I'm also talking about everything else like the side panels and roof bits. I would have a better clue if the guns were not pegged on the roof of the van.

If the damaged sections were swap out panels I'd be more inclined to consider purchasing it, but being they're in permanent damage mode I'll have to pass. Now the wait for Hound to see how disappointing that turns one out as well.

No plastic? HasTak bringing back diecast?sol magnus wrote:chuckdawg1999 wrote:Yeah, I'm not feeling this. I am curious if this will follow the trend of SS86 releases losing the clear plastic.
Since it's SS86/BBB I would say it's already following that trend. Kup and Cliffjumper had no plastic.

I was just being snarky. I did think you were referring to Kup and Cliffy's windshields at 1st, since they were painted in their BB versions.sol magnus wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:No plastic? The assumption on my part was that he meant the packaging. LOL
Till-all-R1 wrote:I'm having a bit of a memory haze regarding this feature and what line it was actually in, but I thought it was Transformers back in the day that featured battle damage by having a part/piece that flips/rolls back and forth. Maybe if they couldn't have swap out battle damage parts as it appears the whole from section would be too complicated for a consumer to do it, that they should have done what I'm talking about?
I get that these slight retools are fairly cheap and easy for Hasbro versus trying to create something all new, my question is are there really that many people who will buy anything and everything Transformers no matter the "version"? Personally I'm not into scene specific figures of any kind because it's severely limiting and I just don't have the space to dedicate to a "dead Bot shelf".
Add on top of this release is the fact that there are still a lot of people who still want regular Prowl from the Amazon 2pk, so my other question is how likely is that reissue now that they went with this version?
Hero Alpha wrote:I'm glad this is out there for the people that want it, but I dont need it. But I thought for a second about getting it just to switch my previous 2 pack Prowl's legs for these. Also I so really hope this is a new trend of no clear type plastic and having painted on windows. I would love to have those blast effects though.
