Fair enough. Your post also caught me on a bad day so perhaps my response was a bit harsh. However, I do understand real life vehicle scaling, and that's not what I was trying to get at. Maybe I should have been clearer.Overcracker wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Instead of being a condescending a$$hole, why don't you try reading properly?
I stated I would like the Aerialbot limbs to be in scale with the Seekers. Not everything else as well.
Sorry for sounding condescending. It was not my intent. Just trying to explain why Aerialbots to scale are not feasible.
Yes, I understand this. I wasn't asking for Transformers to suddenly adhere to the laws of physics (as if they ever did) I just wanted the Aerialbots to be the same size as the Seekers. I don't think we've ever gotten that in any line, since 1985.ut again, being to scale even with the Seekers is not realistic.
...
Scale is a very tricky thing.
Because the Aerialbots (particularly the four limb-bots) are supposed to be smaller than the Seekers in robot mode, at the average size of the Autobot Cars.Rodimus Prime wrote:I simply want the Aerialbots to be the same size as the Seekers. Why can this not be done?

At least, size wise. That is, unless the torso component is Supreme Class (Think Armada Unicron.)
Hey, what a coincidinks, see my custom! Link in the sig I have as I post this.
"Titans" were their official classification, but all of these limbs could have been sold as "deluxes" for their simplicity and hollowness.
The packaging is pretty much irrelevant.
Especially when the figure is too big to fit, they simply disassemble some parts that you have to put back together. They do this often.
I'm pretty sure if one were to completely disassemble one of those Predacons, it still would not fit in a deluxe box. Looking at Predaking, its near same height as Omega Supreme.
According to the animation scale chart?Sabrblade wrote:Because the Aerialbots (particularly the four limb-bots) are supposed to be smaller than the Seekers in robot mode, at the average size of the Autobot Cars.Rodimus Prime wrote:I simply want the Aerialbots to be the same size as the Seekers. But how would that qualify them as Studio Series? And if them having been produced by an animation studio is enough to qualify, couldn't that be applied to every single series ever produced? Where does that leave Legacy? Only toy-accurate decos and maybe characters that never saw screen time?Emerje wrote:I can definitely see SS86 running through 2026 and maybe the start of 2027. After that there's been a lot of theories about an "Animation Edition" subtitle similar to Gamer Edition. The design team has shown interest in adding comic characters to the line (separate from the non-SS Pulse exclusives), though I'm sure Bayverse fans would love to see all that extra stuff go away.

Why not? It's technically possible. It's not a never-ending list, and the cartoon was produced by a studio. Most of them would just need to be reissued in SS packaging, because they have already been released in multiple versions since WFC began. I'm not saying I want that to happen, just that it could.Emerje wrote:It's not like SS could ever hope to or even would want to do every character that ever showed up on the cartoon.

Looks to be legit, and looks like this could be an incredible figure.

I really hope not because that's an atrocious backpack. Which probably means it is real.

That's exactly what I'm doing. I hope they do SS86 Megatron better.Gauntlet101010 wrote:If the backpack bugs you, just stick with ER. Get the Autobot 3 pack from Takara with the better colored Prime.

This one doesn't quite look like it's right out of the 86 movie so far, hopefully future pictures clear things up
