I don't anyone thinks that could happen... There may be some overlap between the 3 waves, but unless these figures are being ridiculously over-produced, I don't see any way someone would find all 6 in a store; that would require some crazy fluke. My point was that it's probably a moderate risk to wait and see if these show up in-store. And I personally wouldn't wait to see if any go on sale; it could be relatively annoying to end up not being able to get ahold of 1-2 of them.

I'd hope more preorders would happen even before the new year. But if you meant "re-packed" when you said "second runs", I would never bank on that... We're not talking just 2, 3, 4, or even 5 figures... Especially with a CC set in this mix. Unless there is some major distribution issue for a couple of these figures and it's a truly wide-spread problem (not just for a specific region), repacking all 6 seems highly unlikely. I don't at all mind if I end up being wrong about this, but I'm predicting once these figures have been released and are gone next year, I wouldn't expect to see them again until some exclusive giftset is made.

Agreed... His main color is more in the range of blue than what we got with the Kingdom version. The color of the figure in the gallery shot is even more blue than what he looks in person. A variation of "lavender" is a pretty good descriptor of the Kingdom figure's main color.
If Hastak is wanting to repaint this figure to be more accurate, I really wish they'd take the Kingdom mold and just upsize it, throw in a few blast effects and maybe even his target master (even though this wasn't in the movie), and release him as a leader class figure so he's taller than Galvatron. This may be considered a new mold, but the design and engineering work would already be done... And I'd assume the $55 price tag would have this make plenty of profit even though the figure would require more plastic and just slightly longer pins.
