Ok I am slightly more open to kids being in the film it probably wouldn't ruin it for me, especially if Speilberg had a more active role then definitely, he puts kids in his movies quite expertly, some of them can be better than the adult actors.

You realize now that if this happens, ESPECIALLY if there's an Ironhide babysitting scene, I will hold you personally responsible. My vengeance will be swift and terrible. Okay, kind of slow and not really that scary.

OOPS! Sorry. I already snuck it into the suggestion box. But I also thrown in more Sideswipe, Ironhide and Ratchet. I want as much of those three in the next movie as we had Leo in this one. I also suggested flashbacks of life on Cybertron before the war broke out (because I like seeing the Autobots in their protoforms) a Transformer battle in a really wicked lightning storm. I want to see Megatron's arms combine to make a cannon again like we saw in the first one, have Optimus Prime pull a trailer just to shut you guys up (actually, you may have to go with a flatbed, since that particular Peterbuilt model is designed for hauling flatbeds) and maybe go into detail on how the Transformers bodies work. I also suggested maybe some sort of an attraction thing going on between Starscream and some Asian chick.

Didn't Alice kinda already do that? Even though her motives where more infiltration, watch Sam, Learn what he knows, Kill him. Terminatorish more than Romance. She definitely put that idea in people minds though. I'd rather not see Arcee and General Lenox out on a date though.

Unicron would be meh. I'd rather them do something from the series that hasn't been done in a movie.

I can't really think of much else. If they made like a Emo bot or something foolish like that or had Optimus dance for whatever reason it'd probably annoy me. Much like Spider-man 3 did..
Or if they pull a JP3 and Power up Optimus gets beaten like 10 minutes into the movie. That would annoy me. I don't think anything could outright ruin the movies for me unless they just decided that it would be a great idea to put something totally out of context for the film.

I do like your ideas for flash backs to Cybertron and fights in lightning storms however. It would be cool to see them in their protoforms. Not so sure about the trailer for Optimus though... seems kinda undignified to me...

I don't know why I said Asian chick, but I just can't help but feel that the Transformers movie might benefit from an Asian character. After all, some of the biggest Transformers fans are of Asian descent. Could be a nice subtle way of tipping the hat towards our fellow friends from the Far East, without blowing up their cities in the movies.

Oh, come on. Blowing up your city in a movie is a sign of *love*. I mean, how many US cities have we seen demolished in our movies? _Independence Day_ annihilated DC. New York has suffered the Death of a Thousand Catastrophes from being turned into a prison island (_Escape from New York_) to a global warming punching back in whatever that movie was I didn't see. The Egyptians were apparently tickled pink that Bay was going to whomp (digitally, of course) the Great Pyramid for his movie. When my parents were in Egypt every single guide who knew my parents were American told them over and over again how the pyramid was going to be in a real honest-to-goodness American movie!

Besides, way better to fictionally blow up a real city than a) to blow up nonfictionally a real city (boooooooo terrrorists), but also b) to blow up fictionally a fictional city, like Kerplockistan or whatever that was in _XXX_. Who cares about Kerplockistan?

Can't it be an Asian dude? Really. Just for the sake of, I dunno, *diversity*, how 'bout we have an Asian guy who isn't either a computer geek or a martial arts expert (or both). How 'bout we have an Asian woman who isn't 'shojo schoolgirl', 'me love you long time' or 'dragon lady'? I'd like to see an Asian *guy* in the NEST team. NOT as the techno geek. Or hell, if you insist on an Asian female, how about getting some *real* diversity on the NEST team and have a woman soldier?

And young kids in perilous situations can work out effectively. Just look at the kids in Jurassic Park. They held their own while showing their vulnerability at the same time.

Keep in mind this was made possable by Spielberg. I wouldn't trust Bay to direct traffic at this point. For three let's try another director!

Trust me, Ironhide climbing out of the pool and stepping over the little girl, with her calling to him "Excuse me, are you the tooth fairy" was all SS idea! He'll be back for the third to put MB back on his leash! I can just imagine now the angry letter he got from parents who were shocked about the crudeness in ROTF.

I rather it be a short leash like say second assiant shoe lacer. But SS has done a ton of war films why he hasn't told Bay to go video tape Megan Fox cleaning his ferarri while Steven directs the movie himself is beyond me.

Maybe because Steven Spielberg doesn't want to be in charge of the entire project? It's alot of work directing a film the size of Transformers.

But I don't know how much different SS could have done. I love both Transformer movies, and I love "most" of Spielberg's movies, but the last movie I saw from him, Indiana Jones IV, I really didn't like at all.

I'd agree that Spielberg needs to have more pull in the next one, but I'd still like Bay to direct again. I hate to see sequels change directors and come out crappy, and they always do!!! X-men 3 was a perfect example. The first two were good and the third could've been awesome but they got another director and it sucked big time! Terminator 3 was horrible too, did anybody see this movie?? NOPE cause it sucked!! No James Cameron, crappy T3!! I hope MB and SS stick together and actually make 5 or 6 movies. I love Transformers and I loved both movies so far.

The stuff that should've been edited from ROTF was the dogs humping, Wheelie humping Megan Fox, Sam's mom gettin high (too many kids in the theaters for this to be acceptible), and Alice the Terminator bot. Whichever writer came up with Alice should be shot! Absolutely stupid in the TF universe!!!! TF's cannot emulate humans.

I wish the ending battle between Optimus and the Fallen would've been a little longer but I recognize that OP was super power X2 so he should've whooped him fairly easily if you ask me. I enjoyed that Bonecrusher lasted all of 20 secs against OP in TF1.

I loved Jetfire!!! I loved the forest battle but wondered where the other autobots were. I loved Devastator!! I honestly hope TF3 is better prepared and more thought out. Sometimes MB movies are a bit rushed it seems and it shows through the editing.

I agree bay should definitely do the next one. Apart from all the stuff you mentioned tex I quite enjoyed the films too. Here's hoping to less humping robots.

Just thought of this, as in, another thing that would send me bolting from the theater to beat Michael Bay with my handy Sock Full of Nickels (tm):

Dancing robots.

Think about it. There's just no way to make it not-awful. Particularly cringingly horrifying would be to involve young human attempting to teach robot to dance.

Well, the whole movie covered that. He did everything I didn't want to see.

And you guys know what that is; racial stereotypes, pointless filler scenes, lifeless (personality wise) characters, empty plot, overuse of explosions, overuse of Megan Fox (yes even she gets overused too) the list can go on and on.

-too much focus on the human characters
-too much focus on the Autobots
-Autobots never lose
-Minicons
-Megatron dying
-too much focus on Bumblebee
-unnecessary "body parts" on combiners
-Decepticons getting killed after a few min of screentime
-too much Megan Fox

Stuff that would ruin the movies for you:

-Sex scene(s) (It's one thing to talk about it, joke about it, but to actually show it, or give a really good impression that that's what's going on. Absolutely unnecessary.)

-Language (After seeing these films, I know going in, that there will be profanity to some degree. For me (or anyone else) to expect otherwise is just silly. However, less amounts of it, and less intense words would go a long way. And no more F-bombs. I know why Mikaela said it, it was realistic, but it wasn't necessary given that it was TransFormers.)

-Excessive violence (Granted, it was robot on robot, unlike The Rise Of Cobra and it's human on human violence, Optimus Prime really pushed the boundaries. Had it been a human instead of Grindor having their face/head split in two, this would have a hell of a time getting R, most likely would end up as an NC-17. Plus G.I. Joe, while intense, the violence fit, and worked better. TFs should follow that same style, but without over the top gratuity for the gore pr0n enthusiasts.)

-Excessive runtime (We're already being pushed to our limit with 2.5 hour runtimes, and Bay should take this to heart: LESS is more. I'm not saying we should have 'em crunch it down to 90 minutes (we saw how that turned out with Quantum Of Solace), but 10-20 minutes wouldn't do a bit of damage.)

-Controversy (I can fully understand why the public finds the twins to be offensive. At one point, I was sure how I felt, but now...I dunno. Either way, it's easy to see why folks would be all pissy about it. Tone down the potential racism, sexism, etc. It's not always needed to sell a flick. And if you are going to be racist, have it be the humans vs. the Cybertronians. Make it an allegory to what's going on in the world, or something of that nature.)

Beyond that, ROTF is everything I wanted in a TF film. I hope Bay learned his lessons on this one and not only continues the trend (learning, that is), but uses what he learned to deliver a slam bang action thriller with better handled comedy (when needed) and heart. The wow factor sells itself with the TFs, period. I think we've had enough wow factor out of the Baysplosions as is. Is there such a thing as pyrotechnics pr0n?

But...that would make it....legitimate science fiction. You KNOW Bay can't pull that off. He can't even do a message as simple as "Robots are cool."
