o.supreme wrote:Yeah Orthia and Combined Starscream from PotP are pretty bad. Mine are are standing on their own, but their backs are arched like they are going to limbo.
o.supreme wrote:Well Seizan seems to either have little fanfare, or people are just slow to review him. I know he is very similar to the previous Trainbot Suiken, but the arms seem to be the bets developed of the set so far.
I know there is some doom and glomo hanging over this set. I'm having doubs myself about the final combined form, especially since now that I have the arms attached to Gesuei ther support is pretty unstable, even if the connection itself is solid.
I seriously doubt there will be Generations Trainbots any time soon whihc is why I supported this project. However there are some highlights, The sword os really cool as are the many other weapon accessories.
Its going to be a long 5 months wait for Kain. While those who ordered individually on Amazon Japan will start getting him in January. Those of us who ordered the deluxe bos on Hasbro Pulse will have to wait until March at least (possibly later due to delays which often happen with imports.
Im hoping at least the stands provide some stability.

o.supreme wrote:Well a couple of them combine to form the Raiden Bazooka but that was shown in previous instructions. As for all the others, not that I'm aware of. I think its neat they found creative ways to store them all in Train Mode, but as for storage in Combined mode...nope, I think there's going to be a LOT of loose Gun accessories.

I'm a little confused because the bot is the character Silver, but the train colors are Doctor Yellow (a special train in Japan for diagnosing track issues) which is what fellow prototype member Doctor is based on. Because of this weird amalgamation I doubt we'll be getting a full prototype team.
Whatever the case, we should get an official announcement later tonight (Friday in Japan).

The manga that was written to advertise the first three Trainbot releases also introduced a second team of prototype Trainbots that use the color schemes of the second Diaclone team. So there are two teams, now.Emerje wrote:Jelze Bunnycat wrote:Also, it doesn't look like that's Silver, but rather a new character (or a new form for Shouki) called "Gin'ou".
"Gin'ou" means silver king in Japanese. I think the new name simply means he's been upgraded or something.

Doctor (or possibly Silver) is probably going to become Ginou, like how Shouki's original name in the story was "Mach".Emerje wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The manga that was written to advertise the first three Trainbot releases also introduced a second team of prototype Trainbots that use the color schemes of the second Diaclone team. There's a second Diaclone team, so three teams total then? So the first Diaclone team is lead by Doctor and the second by Gin'ou? That's a little much, Takara Tomy...

Agreed. I'm tempted, but not overly so. If there was a second set so I wouldn't have a dismembered torso, or it made a significant change to Raiden's appearance (or at least more than I can make out in the photo,) I might be on board - no pun intended.
As it is, Raiden feels like he's taken far too long to complete. I'm not particularly interested in doing this again for just a recolor.
