Good point. BUT they've done redecos with the other Lamborghini's, so maybe not?Kurona wrote:Actually, come to think of it... if Lamborghini apparently are so anal about accuracy that they wouldn't allow a chromed spoiler, would that interfere with redeco potential?

Not as long as the colours are believable. The previous lambor redecos are good examples of the redeco potential this mold has.
The police deco does have a name, but it's the uncreative "Sunstreaker Police Type".Black Hat wrote:Fortunately the only existing redecos of Susntreaker are the red Spin-Out and the unnamed but completely awesome police deco, both from Diaclone.

Moonshot wrote:This is the best Sunstreaker figure ever. A three way tie for best MP figure as well between; Megatron, Sunstreaker and Inferno.

How can we know this when no one has had it in hand?

Anything to replace Alternators Sunstreaker as my stand in.
Ohhhhhh I see.william-james88 wrote:Oh I am not doubting this is the best Sunstreaker figure, its line about him being the Best MP figure of all time that got to me. The fake parts and cartoon innacurate backpack already cost it some points over others (like MP Grimlock).itscramtastic wrote:Just let them dream WJ!!I know I'm pre-ordering from my specific retailer when I get the chance

So far my list of top MPs is the following
5. Masterpiece Optimus Primal
4. Transformers Masterpiece Sideswipe (Lambor)
3. Transformers Masterpiece Grimlock (Grimlock (MP-08))
2. Masterpiece Ironhide
1. Transformers Masterpiece Wheeljack
I dont see this guy dethroning any but you never know.
Strong yen, placeholder price, all factors. There's a good chance he'll drop, which is what I think most of us are planning on.SpaceKaseJase wrote:Ok, perhaps this has been covered earlier in the thread and I missed it, but what is up with the $30 price hike? I know Megs 2.0 got a huge hike as well, but Sunstreaker is same scale as Lambo and the Datsun bros, who retailed as high as $90. I remember preordering Wheeljack from A-E for under $50 (A-E is the way to go, if your patient with shipping). I hope A-E has him preordered for under $70. This price hike is getting rediculous--$110 from BBTS is too much to swallow. I am finding I will need to stop collecting TFs altogether if this continues (and it probably will).

An interview with the design team for this figure had them mention how they were able to up the parts count for this figure to incorporate into it an even wider range of articulation than ever before. This increased articulation is most likely the cause of the higher price.SpaceKaseJase wrote:Ok, perhaps this has been covered earlier in the thread and I missed it, but what is up with the $30 price hike? Man, I didn't think the yen was that strong.
