To all Transformers fans

"Transformers" is a unique 40-year partnership between Takara Tomy Co., Ltd. and HASBRO, which has created
rare characters and numerous products that are loved by fans around the world. Since the creation of Optimus Prime (Convoy), which transforms from a vehicle into a robot, in 1984, "Transformers" has evolved into a global brand.

Thanks to you, "Transformers" will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2024. The entire Transformers team would like to thank you for your support of Transformers over the years. As we approach our 40th anniversary, Takara Tomy would like to inherit and develop the tradition of "Transformers".

We will continue to communicate with the fans who have spent 40 years with us, and cherish the "Transformers" "YOUR ORIGIN" that has become the starting point for each fan, and we will use the 40th anniversary as an opportunity to unite all generations. I hope that we can continue to move forward together with our fans, so that we can transform into “OUR ORIGIN” and connect to even greater power.

Personally I only plan on getting the two Missing Link figures, probably the retro reissue especially if it uses the Music Label head, and the CC (whatever that ends up looking like). No real interest in the MP-44 repaint and this statue would have to be under $50 for me to bite and I doubt that's going to happen. I also have Lunar Cruiser Prime on order, though that one doesn't really count. I think there was a Deluxe figure planned somewhere, or maybe that was just SS Megatron?

I'm going to set it at 13.5, though that may be low....

I'm going to set it at 13.5, though that may be low....

This might be it for the really expensive G1 Primes, wouldn't put it past them doing a special Robosen Prime or something, maybe a cheap(er) one that doesn't transform like the Bumblebee that's currently only in Japan.

Now if we're talking characters named Optimus Prime scheduled for 2024 at any price point there's a few more known.

That's just the ones we know about for sure and already takes us to 10 in the main lines and collector markets alone. Factor in anything else we might be getting from TF:One and Earthspark and other potential exclusives and we could have nearly two dozen Primes released in 2024.

Do we count HasLab Omega Prime and LU Vector Prime?
