While his paint looks absolutely masterful, the assumed price of 225 seems a bit expensive. If someone has Jetwing optimus, could you post pictures for how it scales with new generations figures? I'm not familiar with the size of this mold, and don't want to buy this guy and then realize he's smaller than I expected.

He wouldnt scale with new generations figures. He's a bit taller than MP 10. If it helps, the recent generations voyagers are about the same height as the voyager optimus found in the picture. He's huge, the size will not dissapoint you.

APS-01 retailed for $190 over here, so this price isn't unexpected. Disappointing, but not unexpected.

Hopefully a few overseas importers will have this guy for around $200 US.

That is an APSURD price. I will keep my Jetwing Optimus that I got from TRU for $49.99 during Black Friday 2 years ago...that is my favorite large movie Prime to date. This is a senseless premium reissue.

@megatronous. You say it like you know that's true. Seriously though, if people stop supporting those insane inflated prices, they wouldn't even think about listing it as such. I'm an Optimus Prime completist, but even I think this price is too much. It's a retail edition, not secondary market price. That's too bad. I'll wait.

you think this wont sell out? every other asia premium figure has.

lets all not forget: asia premium series. these figures have always been expensive. so this is nothing new.

The price is disapointing but fair since it would cost more to get everything seperately. There is no waiting for these and secondary market prices always rize on them later. You either get it or you dont. I wont.

I have two of the individual series, just not the stricker shield. I wouldn't pay that price for most of the things I already have. I would however will force myself if the shield is chromed. But I think this set Wil drive down the previous striker Optimus

As expected, overpriced ! Especially for the mold released many times before .If it had FWI-04 Jetwing upgrade instead of the U.F.O's. Jetwing pack I would consider it.but as it is...... Definitely a pass for me! Unless :-?

Perhaps. I sold my APS01 this past weekend for $275, so APS01U is pretty much paid for.

Mega high price, for a non-screen accurate DOTM flight tech set.
The third party one's way more accurate. I'm considering getting that since I already own Buster version 2. Which is perfect on its own.
